What’s everyone doing today?

DH is still in bed here but I’ll wake him up in a while as we’re planning to go shopping for some random bits like new swimming goggles for her and a tennis racquet for DS.

Also hoping to get to the allotment at some point, but DD is already pre-emptively complaining about that Hmm

The weather’s good so I should probably start a load of washing, but tbh another coffee is more appealing...

Ds1's birthday treat is this afternoon with few friends. This morning will be the usual uniform/laundry/bathroom cleaning/general sorting that always happens in Sunday morning. Plus homework etc.

It's late afternoon here (Aus). I have had a quiet day today, the weather is starting to warm up so I have chilled in the garden in the sunshine. I'm having treatment for Cancer at the moment that makes me very tired. DD and I went to the theatre to see a matinee performance of Chicago yesterday (fab) and had lunch first so that was my energy used up for the weekend 😊 DH is cooking pork medallions for dinner and I bought a sticky toffee pudding for dessert so I am looking forward to that.

I'm in bed browsing on here. Ds 1 and 2 are downstairs watching TV
Dh is snoring after heavy night out with work.
Today we need to do a food shop, get the boys haircut and general tidy up at home.
No idea what we will have for dinner

Already got the washing on the line and done the washing up.

Need to tackle tea and then I think we will go to the park this afternoon.

Not too much as the tiddlers are knackered now they are back in school.

DS1 has a football match this morning so I'll drop him there and then head over to the garden centre.

I think we're taking the dog to the beach this afternoon so might find a dog friendly pub for lunch then it will be ironing and making packed lunches before school tomorrow.

A nice, chilled day.

Dp headed out for an all day motorbike ride, I'm still in bed and in pain with a dodgy pelvis. I need to get up though as I have a full day's work to do (got rather behind this week due to dodgy pelvis and now I'm risking being late with customer orders). DS has a birthday party this aft and lots of homework still to do so will play the juggling act as per usual. There's washing and cleaning to do as well 🙄. Could do without dp disappearing for the day but such is life.

I've put a wash on and I'm pottering MNing

I'm going to work tomorrow after two months off so need to get ready for that

I also bought some trellis so I could paint it while the warm weather is here but not got round to it yet

Breakfast in front of the TV (Sunday treat), then a bit of gardening. DH has already started out there, and i want to start putting the outdoor toys away in the shed.

After DS's nap we might go to the park or back into the garden. DD has a bit of homework to do but she's Y1 so it's only drawing.

Tonight is proper bath/shower night, which takes up most of the evening (washing and drying hair). And I'll change the DC's beds.

First full day back home after holidays which were lovely, but I’m very glad to be home. Laundry, food shopping, sorting of holiday presents and general tidying before we go back to work tomorrow, including the garden if the weather behaves. Tonight will be (probably) one of the first roast dinners of the autumn, I might even make a crumble. Catch up of The Capture after dinner. Looking forward to it all!

Not a lot; dd1 is still in bed at the mo watching Youtube, dd2 is sock on.

When they get up (or I get them up, if that's not reasonably soon), we need to go to Lidl for fruit and salad. I need to iron school shirts and listen to dd2 read. Dd1 has homework to finish off.

Other than that, I don't think we're doing much of anything.

Maybe some baking with dd2, she usually helps bake something for pack ups or pudding on a Sunday.

A nice sofa sunday here as I did cleaning/laundry on Friday night. We're going to watch some Avenger related films on my new tv set up and eat ourselves silly. Just me and DD.

I’ve just had second breakfast with the DCs Blush
DH has done all the work uniform/school uniform ironing so it doesn’t have to be done this evening.
Then I think we are embarking on a long “get this baby out of me” walk around the nature reserve! I’m 39+4 and losing the will to live Confused

Gardening. Hopefully some allotment. Some work, some chores and hopefully making apple jam if I get a battery for my scales.
Hurt my foot though so I might be being ambitious.

I need to do a good tidy up and clean, including the washing I should have done yesterday.

But am still lying in bed MN'ing.

Have an online shop coming this afternoon with stockpiles of stuff I always run out of and can't be bothered to go buy e.g. big packs of toilet roll (no car for shopping).

Otherwise will just chill. And rewatching downton atm before the film comes out so will probably spend too long today wishing I was a lady who lunched in the 20s!

Quiet day here today. DP going to watch his team play football and I'm going to watch location and Masterchef on catch up. Got a pile of ironing to do later and will make cottage pie for tonight's tea and a bean chilli for tomorrow's tea. House is fairly tidy so having a rest day.

I'm just about to get dressed then I need to hang out the laundry. I've got some food shopping to do and a bit of meal prep to do.
