DH is still in bed here but I’ll wake him up in a while as we’re planning to go shopping for some random bits like new swimming goggles for her and a tennis racquet for DS.

Also hoping to get to the allotment at some point, but DD is already pre-emptively complaining about that Hmm

The weather’s good so I should probably start a load of washing, but tbh another coffee is more appealing...

Oh and dd are on their back from fils in the highlands today no idea what time they will be back it's a 7hr drive so I've got lamb casserole in the slow cooker for their tea. I've got loads of washing and ironing to do. Waiting for asda to open and I need to return something to next. Want to go to dunelm and look at curtains for ds room ds is not impressed about any of the above and wants to stay at home and play xbox all day! Dm&dd are away so I need to go to theirs and check the house feed the cat.
Theres a family Funday at the local cricket club that i wanted to go to but the weather is putting me off.

Off out for a family lunch then dp off to work this evening. Sorting school uniforms and bags for tomorrow and the usual washing and tidying, love a Sunday

Chipsahoy · 15/09/2019 10:14

Happy Sunday all.
Ironing first thing and bed sheets to do then later we are going to the local Fair to waste money on tat, rides and sugary crap.
Dh is also painting utility cupboard doors today.
Roast pork for dinner later and a little bit of homework for Dc2. Dc1 did his yesterday.

Hosted a cocktail party last night so have tidied up after that so far. On the plus side the house is clean and tidy already so I don't need to get on top of that.
DH taken 2 DC to rugby training. Other two have friends over so are occupied. I'm about to get dressed and make another coffee.
No plans for the day except a party to go this afternoon for ds2.
A rare quiet day for us. I love it.

DH’s parents are here so we’re having a slow morning and then will go out to a local garden centre for a potter and probably a bit of lunch. And then it’ll be sofa and papers, maybe a bit of light work on the garden whilst the weather is still nice.

I love hearing about people’s Sunday’s!

trinity0097 · 15/09/2019 10:24

I thought i’d Got over a bout of D and V, but the D has come back, so am chilling on the sofa just eating toast in the hope I can get to work tomorrow.

Just got the first load of washing on the line, second one on the go at present. Earlier I did an on-line shop - lots of nice bits and pieces for my new kitchen - lots of Le Creuset and some nice pottery bits. Still enjoying the novelty of my new (to me) home. The village church hosting an open day type thing this afternoon, so as we're new to the village thought we'd go down for a look. In a minute other half is off for a walk into our nearby small town to get a few bits from the supermarket. Tea will be cottage pie and some nice fresh green beans given to me by our lovely new neighbour. Will be planting up a few pots for the garden including a beautiful rose which was a housewarming gift. So happy to be feeling settled and secure after all the angst of house buying/selling. Even the chores don't seem so bad at the moment (that will soon wear off!!!).
