Simple things that make your life so much edit?

Every night my phone battery would be low and without fail I’d be sitting awkwardly at a funny angle on the couch trying to look through Mumsnet whilst it charged plugged in. DH ordered me a charger for about £10 with a cable over 1m long and it has changed my life! What other small things have made your life much more pleasant?

Still working my way through this one, but to add:

Two lunchboxes for each kid, so one's in the dishwasher/drying and one's made ready in the fridge. (Except Sunday's, when they're all done and I don't have to make another set of lunches on Monday night).

And then making a whole loaf of sandwiches and putting the excess in the freezer (I can get 10 sandwiches out of our cheap loaf). So the rest of the week is just assembly rather than actually making sandwiches. And DS1 doesn't have a chance to eat all the bread before the end of the week

I really hate making sandwiches. I know some people say it only takes seconds but it's a faff and I hate it. Better to get it over with once in the week.

And leftovers for lunch for me. So cooking & serving up an extra portion into a tub. Cheap and yummy, and no faff!

Oh and I'm with @SciFiScream about the ikea bags for laundry. They fold up and fit in the gap between the machine and the countertop for easy storage too.
