Hangover help

DP is really suffering after an afternoon drinking in the sun yesterday. How can I help him? What are your best hangover cures?

Pint of water to drink every hour.

Cold can of full fat coke and ready salted crisps.

Plenty of water (small sips if he thinks he may be sick), a sugary drink like a bottle of coke and some fatty food. I never feel like eating when I'm hungover and tend to feel a bit crap straight after but it definitely helps overall

For me it's sleep in a cool room, sips of water and paracetamol, story food for dinner
Sleep/ lying down is my only cure personally

Oh yeah and cold full fat coke is a good shout ( I just never have any in)

Lie down until it is possible to stand, then something substantial to eat.
A full English works a treat.

Even water is making him feel sick right now. He's really dizzy. I've never seen him this bad and I feel a bit helpless

McDonalds or a fry-up and the cheapest shitey banana milkshake that your corner shop sells.

Honestly he just needs to sleep it off

Cola is good but sleep is the only cure

Bacon sandwich with hot sauce and a cup of tea.

A shower always works wonders for me. No idea why.

One of those isotonic sports drinks or a rehydration sachet?

Could it be more than a hangover? Also effects of too much heat/sun?

I'm right there with him today.

I've had cheese on toast and icy cold coke.

Will be ordering a curry when the Indian opens this afternoon.

Lucozade or non-diet Coke in small sips
See if he can suck on some boiled sweets or similar
Ice pops or ice cubes
Crackers with cheese
Solpadeine

Travel sickness tablets to stop the room spinning. Water and flat coke

Yeah it might be the sun as well as the booze. Defintely lots of water but make sure to get something salty in him too.

Cans of coke and paracetamol

Lucozade sport and a dioralyte.

I think time is going to be the only cure! He is just so ill and upset I can't even bring myself to be angry with him for ruining my day(think I'm going soft, when I was younger I would have been furious )

Big Mac, full sugar coke. An icepack on his forehead (alternated with the back of his neck) will make him feel a million times better

It's really horrible being that hungover. Sounds like this is rare for him so it's lovely of you to cut him some slack and try to help!

Tbf nothing cures a bad hangover but time, you are correct. (And if I'm involved, a lot of vomit)

He's throwing up again now. Going to be a long day. Can't be doing with people who trot out the "self-inflicted" stuff

He could be quite ill with dehydration from boozing in the hot sun.

This is failsafe:

I sachet Dioralyte (puts back the salts -it's specifically for dehydration)
A banana (potassium)
Scrambled eggs and toast
A Virgin Mary
