Oh god SO many but they are teenagers obsessed with trainers, and don’t wear anything else plus their feet have stopped growing. Ds1 buys his own as he works weekends. He will happily spend £180 on one pair. I know. Ridiculous .

bloodywhitecat · 21/08/2019 10:26

My two and a half year old has a pair of leather shoes, a pair of canvas shoes and a pair of wellies.

jackparlabane · 21/08/2019 10:33

Ds has ASD and a huge problem with shoes. He wears his one pair of black school shoes for everything and luckily has the next size up on hand to go into.

Dd likes her school shoes but has plimsolls and sandals and wellies and until this month had party shoes and winter boots - need to buy new ones.
Both KS2 age.

Dontgiveamonkeys1350 · 21/08/2019 10:40

Mine is 15. He has many many. But. He has to have the colour to match his outfit. So the whole thing co ordinates. It’s the done thing apparently

Fucking hundreds, but they've always conveniently lost one of the only pair they'll deign to wear when it comes to leaving the house.

Though I must add my daughter’s feet haven’t grown so she hasn’t had new shoes in a year! My son seems to buy a pair every month (often second hand off his mates).
