Maths absolutely hated it because I didn’t get it and felt embarrassed. Science I found boring.
I loved the arts and humanities I found fascinating

Maths - terrifying! Got an unclassified GCSE result in school. Finally got a B twenty years later. Easy when you know how!

poolblack · 20/08/2019 22:35

PE. I hated it. We had to shower afterwards in an open shower block and I was painfully scared to be naked in front of people. I used to lie about it being me period (for s good year before I started) but we had to be careful because the PE teacher marked it on the register Angry

LittleCandle · 20/08/2019 22:35

Maths, because I have dyscalculia and it was like being in a class taught in a foreign language. It was excruciating. And I wasn't any good at chemistry or physics and in my day, you could only take biology from 3rd year onwards if you passed general science at a particular level.

BoJoIsABellend · 20/08/2019 22:36

PE & Maths 😫

Robs20 · 20/08/2019 22:36

Physics and maths. Hated them both!

Moomoo1975 · 20/08/2019 22:36

Latin

Lellochip · 20/08/2019 22:36

Drama. I was ridiculously shy and hated performing in front of people, so why I chose this for a GCSE option I have no idea! (I'm probably perfectly qualified to act in Casualty though, after 2 years of faking illness whenever I was due to perform... 😅)

clucky3 · 20/08/2019 22:38

English and history. So fucking boring.

BananaSpanner · 20/08/2019 22:39

Art. I was just absolutely shit at it.

MoaningMinnie1 · 20/08/2019 22:39

Geography
Maths
Music theory (I appreciated music & could sing but panicked when presented with sheet music)

LittleAndOften · 20/08/2019 22:42

PE, science and art.
PE was humiliating
Science I didn't see the point of
Art I was useless at.

I really hated school. Then I became a secondary English teacher Grin

fleshmarketclose · 20/08/2019 22:43

Geography, so boring.
PE I was hopeless.
Food tech wasn't interested.
RE would have been awful but the teacher was hopeless and the class generally ran him ragged so it ended up being quite entertaining even if we did learn absolutely nothing.

Pinkarsedfly · 20/08/2019 22:44

Maths
Games
Technical drawing

LaBelleSauvage123 · 20/08/2019 22:45

French - my teacher was so, so dull. ‘Qu’est-ce-que tu fais hier soir?’ Every sodding lesson.
Double physics
Double maths
I used to make pencil tallies of the minutes in the lesson and cross them off. Because that made them go much faster 🙄🙄

HarrietSchulenberg · 20/08/2019 22:45

PE as I hate team games. Was scared of Chemistry teacher but liked everything else.

SeaSaltandLime · 20/08/2019 22:45

Maths.

I never, ever understood it and the bitch of a maths teacher used to absolutely crucify me in front of everyone when I got things wrong (as if that was going to make me understand!)
The numbers just jump around the page - they actually won't sit still and start looking strange the more I look at them.

Bunked off until the school agreed to put me in with a new teacher.

Drogosnextwife · 20/08/2019 22:46

P.E because I was very self conscious, and because of that wouldn't try at anything so the teachers thought I was shit. I wasn't I was just afraid to embarrass myself.
Biology because the ass was always freezing.

SeaSaltandLime · 20/08/2019 22:46

Oh and PE.

But I never attended the lessons so it's not so much of a harsh memory as the maths classes.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 20/08/2019 22:48

Maths - didn't get it, wasn't really explained in a way I could grasp.

Geography - dull, terrible teachers, and was last lesson on Friday afternoon

Games/PE at secondary school only - mum ended up writing me a note exempting me on the ground of my arthritic elbow after I spent 2 years forging her signature

On the other hand, I loved Latin, German, French, English and History.

MileyWiley · 20/08/2019 22:49

Drama and PE. I'm not one for performing in front of others 🤷‍♀️. I agree that exercise needs to be in the curriculum but drama 🤨 should be an option to just to film and theatre studies maybe (which I would have loved the analytical part of, and wasn't any of in drama lessons) but any actual acting part of it could be some other kind of performing arts option??

Drogosnextwife · 20/08/2019 22:49

SeaSaltandLime
That sounds like visual stress or dyslexia. My ds was just tested for visual stress for reading and writing.

AllieDidNotDeserveBea · 20/08/2019 22:51

MATHS. Fuck off and die maths.
