My son bought me shoes

He’s 18 & working full time on a good salary for his age.
I’m a cleaner. In the terrible weather this week my shoes have hole.
He’s just sent a link for new shoes to be delivered tomorrow.
I cried

Lovely - my ds does things like this too , just at the point I’m ready to move out myself to get away from him(lighthearted ) , he surprises me !

I wondered at the time why he was asking about my size feet but just dismissed it. He was with his mates so to me it was just chat.
They are Converse. Nothing fancy. These have lasted me.
