My son bought me shoes

Just that.
He’s 18 & working full time on a good salary for his age.
I’m a cleaner. In the terrible weather this week my shoes have hole.
He’s just sent a link for new shoes to be delivered tomorrow.
I cried

That's lovely. DS did something similar with a handbag he knew I'd love but would never buy. I adore it, not because it cost hundreds of pounds but the sentiment with which it was given.
