Need inspiration! As no idea what to have today. Yesterday we had a takeaway. And partner said he doesn't know what he wants.

We are having pork and apple burgers with wedges and salad (Hello Fresh recipe)

NeverHadANickname · 15/08/2019 16:03

I think carbonara with bacon and mushrooms. Will probably have salad with it. One of my favorite meals.

Glitterpearl · 15/08/2019 16:11

We are trying this jerk chicken recipe

realfood.tesco.com/recipes/birdies-everybody-welcome-jerk-chicken.html

with this rice recipe as the side.

www.curiouscuisiniere.com/caribbean-red-beans-and-rice/

They are both new recipes for me so I hope they turn out nice.

Sausages in a lentil thing with broccoli and cauliflower.

Nottobesoldseparately · 15/08/2019 16:20

With garlic bread as we need to use it up and my freezer is full!

No idea, was supposed to go food shopping today but still feeling rough from a bad cold + anxiety!

Last night I had wholewheat pasta with pesto, grated cheese and veg :)

blamethecat · 15/08/2019 16:22

daphine2004 · 15/08/2019 16:23

Prawn Thai stir fry which was on offer in M&S when I popped in for lunch. It’ll be hot dogs tomorrow!

www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/tandoor-chicken

with salad

I also made a chocolate sponge cake

BoogleMcGroogle · 15/08/2019 16:25

Raclette. Because nothing coveys the health-giving properties of summer in the Alps like imbibing half a kilo of melted cheese. In my defence, I walked eight miles along and then down a mountain this morning.

LifeOfBox · 15/08/2019 16:25

Last night in a holiday cottage here so it will be, in no particular order ... Parma ham cooked til crispy, mushrooms, egg, tomatoes and Halloumi, because that’s what we have got left!

Bloodycats · 15/08/2019 16:26

Nothing terribly exciting, just having smoked cod and green veg. I’ll fancy the veg up though.

MustardScreams · 15/08/2019 16:26

I’m having beer for dinner tonight, dd is at her dad’s and I need to let loose a bit.

Had Ottolenghi’s sabih for dinner last night though and it was amazing. Highly recommended!

BearSoFair · 15/08/2019 16:30

Snap @NeverHadANickname, carbonara and salad here tonight too!

AtleastitsnotMonday · 15/08/2019 16:32

Linguine with crab, chilli, cherry toms and courgette, possibly the quickest dinner I make!

DontCallMeShitley · 15/08/2019 16:33

This probably won't help, but a huge salad with a pack of grilled halloumi, all to myself.

Or maybe proper pasta, the big, fancy shaped kind with olive oil, garlic, a little bit of chilli and lots of peas and broad beans mixed in. I have no cheese to put on it though.

BrunettesDoItBetter · 15/08/2019 16:33
