Need inspiration! As no idea what to have today. Yesterday we had a takeaway. And partner said he doesn't know what he wants.

flumpybear · 15/08/2019 17:49

Shepherds pie (real shepherds) with cheese mixed in with the mash with steamed carrots and petit pois

My dh is making poached haddock with potato rostis and poached eggs. Will probably put some salad with it. I'm rather excited. We are both teachers so have a bit more time at the moment to try out new meal ideas.

MidnightMystery · 15/08/2019 18:24

Salt and pepper fried chicken mixed with couscous - delicious!

Bluetit101 · 15/08/2019 18:28

I chucked some jacket potatoes in the slow cooker this morning and let everyone choose what they want with them. I'm having tuna mayo, cheese and salad, husband is having prawns, kids are having beans and cheese.

moolady1977 · 15/08/2019 18:30

Will eventually be having homemade burgers and wedges and I've been trying out my new bread maker so hopefully some warm fluffy breadcakes too

allabouteve1 · 15/08/2019 18:50

Winner winner chicken dinner. Haven't done a roast in ages and really fancied the full works. It smells lush can't wait.

Lighteninginabottle27 · 15/08/2019 19:03

What ever takes my fancy at the all inclusive tonight. (Not helpful I know.) I'm not relishing having to actually construct meals again next week but if I were to stay here any longer I'll pop. 😳

PotterHead1985 · 15/08/2019 19:03

I'm having the stuff in the pics.

Chocolate Mousse for dessert, because I'm silly like that

Mashed potatoes (with a dollop of creme fraiche), vegetarian sausages, brocoli and cauliflower... All topped with caramelized onion gravy.

PotterHead1985 · 16/08/2019 18:47

Deep fat fryer food: breaded fish, chicken nuggets, chips, picked onions and pickles with a gü lemon cheesecake for dessert. Dog just back from the vet so don't want to go to a lot of effort.
