Got to say I love a 2p machine. But say you're walking past one and it drops a load- do you
A) shamelessly grab them
B) look around slightly embarrassed and then snaffle them
C) leave them for the next person

B!

WhiteVixen · 15/08/2019 13:50

If no one is stood near the machine and it just drops them randomly then it’s fair game. I swiped a handful of 10p coins (about five) that I noticed in a machine receptacle when we were away last week after loitering for 30 seconds and deciding no one was playing the machine. All’s fair in love and amusements. So A for me, after a bit of loitering.

Lindy2 · 15/08/2019 13:50

B
But I also might secretly lurk for a moment or two if I think some are about to drop. 😂

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 15/08/2019 13:52

I'm a definite B too. Have never seen a randomly dropped 10ps though. I don't play the 10ps considering how easy it is to spunk money down the 2ps!

EggysMom · 15/08/2019 13:57

I'm an A. I'm so shameless that I even tour arcades solely to check for random drops that nobody else has yet taken.

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 15/08/2019 13:59

I have also been known to barge lightly into the machine but one of my better behaved dcs usually tells me off Grin

A all the way!

81Byerley · 15/08/2019 14:20

A! Mind you I check money return in parking machines as well, since the day I thought my fee hadn't gone through, and made £3.80 profit!

Wellmet · 15/08/2019 14:44

A. Love the 2p machines. My kids need gamblers anonymous by the end of a day on the pier!

constipatedoverweightoldlady · 15/08/2019 14:46

After spending a week and a fortune in Brid it's A !!

Flavabobble · 15/08/2019 14:52

Do you mean those penny falls type ones but with 2ps?
I'd choose
d. Subtly snaffle them and chuck them all back in, in the hope of winning the big one.

KatherineJaneway · 15/08/2019 14:57

B

I hate the blokes who hang around while you play though. Creepy arses. I am not leaving if I can see the coins are getting ready to fall people!

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 15/08/2019 16:24

When I was a kid though I don't remember them being filled with the plastic shit "prizes" that they have now, I was just happy with the endless 2ps!

OP posts:
Pancakeflipper · 15/08/2019 16:31

A

My eyesight may be aging but I can sniff out a 2p in an arcade.

Though sometimes if I find 2p I will drop it into the tub of 2ps belonging to a child. To ease my greedy guilt feeling.

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 15/08/2019 16:48

When I was playing last night the one next to me had a little girl on, she walked away and it dropped a load so I called her back. That too was to make myself feel better for the ones I've swiped from unattended machines over the years

TheOrigRightsofwomen · 15/08/2019 16:57

Who would do C?!

Pancakeflipper · 15/08/2019 17:02

No not C
I am not really mean... Just thinking I am sure I have walked away from a 2p machine and it's dropped and someone else benefitted
I am over thinking this

Yabbers · 15/08/2019 17:12

A

RaspberryRippleCrisps · 15/08/2019 17:27

Definitely A! I have no shame. Grin

TroysMammy · 15/08/2019 17:31

I shoved my hand in the cuddly toy grabber door as I was passing and there was a badly made stuffed dinosaur in it. I took it home. I was in my 20's, no children and felt quite pleased with my free toy.

In answer to the question A, but put them back into the machine. What then comes out is mine.
