How often do you have sex?

3/4 times a week, dh would like more but with a 4yo and 1yo I'm too tired

Usually 2/3 times a week.

I think we had sex in January. It was extremely infrequent before that, but I used to care. Since the start of this year I don't give a shit any more. That would probably worry me if I took the time to think about it. (10 years married, 2 small DC).

Probably on average about 1.5 times a week

Twice a month? Three times if we're feeling frisky? We're not very sexual lmao.

Not for eight years, since DH had a brain tumour removed - it knocked out his hormones completely and he has total erectile malfunction. We tried all the treatments but nothing worked. At least we can cuddle !

Once every two weeks at the min!

Kids staying up later because of the summer holidays and we've both been shattered.

We do "bits" at the minute. No opportunity to do anything else.

We go away in a couple of days with kids
So prob no chances then but we have a long weekend together when we get back so prob will make up for it then

Not had any since conceived DD2 - she is 3 months would like to get back to it but to be honest from since DS1 things have been dwindling...I love and fancy my DH but don't feel great in myself and my DH works all the time so we never get round to it on holiday at the mo and planning to start again...prob the worst married sexlife on mumsnet

Twice this year!!

DH has a very low libido. I cannot bring myself to initiate because I know he doesn't want sex. The lack of sex is the one bad thing in our relationship. I've resigned myself to it but it's caused so many problems for me (lack of confidence / feeling older and uglier than I am etc).

No penetrative sex for over 4 years. My DH would like to, but it’s very painful and my libido is nil since DS2. I’m fortunate he’s very patient, but something needs to happen. Surprised to see so many here who have it so frequently as I’m not that unusual among close friends. We’re all the middle age cliche of young kids, two jobs, tired all the time with the man wanting sex and the woman having no interest at all. Are there really none of us on MN, or do we just not comment on these threads?

Once a day- keeps me blood pumping

Once, maybe twice a fortnight.
Having a non sleeping DD (4.5) and DH who is exhausted from a long commute doesn't help. I'd like more but my self confidence is zero and his libido isn't high.
Which considering he wants another one is ridiculous.

Pre DD it was every few days.

It differs every week. Sometimes it will be every night. Other weeks it will just be once a week. Don’t think we have ever gone longer than 7-10 days though. We kiss and cuddle every day

About once a month. Just so tired all the bloody time and can't be arsed!! Both happy with the arrangement though, we're both tired
