It's 2am. Why are you awake?

35 weeks pregnant, can't get comfy.

34 weeks pregnant, have developed pancreatitis and they're likely to do a section in the morning. Quite a lot on my mind.

ElizaPancakes · 09/08/2019 02:41

I'm watching Years and Years. I should go to bed but I'm on hols from work so don't have to get up.

ElizaPancakes · 09/08/2019 02:42

Fingers crossed for tomorrow
@TigerJoy what a horrible dream, I don't often remember dreams but they can be so vivid, hopefully you're back peacefully sleeping by now

My 5 yr old with epilepsy is having a terrible seizure night. Rescue meds given , ambulance next if they don't work !
He has been crying for 3 days now and been in and out once already.

I missed a call from her at 7pm yesterday and tried to call her back then, so a bit confused.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 09/08/2019 02:59

@FrenchyQ if you're poorly you need to put yourself first .

Alicewond · 09/08/2019 02:59

If in doubt call an ambulance

Chocolatethief · 09/08/2019 03:01

Struggling with thoughts tried a helpline who weren't much help, not sleeping is not helping though

secretnutter · 09/08/2019 03:01

Four year old DS has been awake for 2 hours and won't go back to sleep, I'm on strike for laying in bed with him, so I'm sitting on the landing with a numb bum staring at my phone Hmm

GoGoJo · 09/08/2019 03:01

I'm in Taiwan, it's tomorrow.

Alicewond · 09/08/2019 03:04

I don’t know what’s happening, would you talk to me?

BobTheFishermansWife · 09/08/2019 03:04

Bless you too everyone that's not well and have things on their minds, I hope all hospital potentials get the best treatment!!

I've just put my son down to sleep after giving him his 2.30am feed. He's currently snuffling and sighing in his moses basket next to me 😍

Nospringchickendipper · 09/08/2019 03:05

Stripyhoglets · 09/08/2019 03:09

Jet lag. Slept at all the wrong times this afternoon, as couldn't sleep on plane, so now wide awake and bored

PoppingOneOutIn2020 · 09/08/2019 03:10

17 weeks pregnant and have piles for the first time. I have no idea what to do, I have health anxiety and I'm in panic mode.
I cant get any sort of cream or treatment until the weekend.

I read on the NHS page that they can clear up on their own, my SIL said she had them and it took about a week and a half.
It's quite sore, not agony but my anxiety is heightening it all so I keep thinking it's really painful when it's not it's just sore.

I cant find a comfortable position, I'm squeamish about things like this.

I dont know what to do :( will they clear on their own? I dont like taking medicines if I can help it, I get worried about allergic reactions. Any advice is welcome :(

MrsTaytodarling · 09/08/2019 03:10

Night shift...cant wait till 8am

flapjackfairy · 09/08/2019 03:13

@Alicewond.
Thanks for good wishes. He has settled a little bit. He has one of the devastating epilepcies . Think the ones you see on the news with parents fighting for cbd medicines etc etc ( despite the change in the law they still won't prescribe though nothing else works v well when it is this bad ). Oh seem to have gone all political there ! I
Anyway he is dozing and not screaming so fingers crossed!

swissmilk · 09/08/2019 03:14

Think it's because I drank a chia tea which wasn't de-caf after 9pm. Also I have a very important day tomorrow (today) which is probably going to cause me more difficulties in my future.
And I'm hungry as I didn't eat much yesterday...just eaten a load of cereal so hopefully that will help.
