How many children did you decide to have, and why?
Honestly curious how/why different people decide on number of kids to have (with the full understanding that unplanned kids happen, too!).

Three but I'd have loved four. DH wasn't having it!

I never felt very broody but once I started having babies I didn't want to stop.

One. I love being a mum of one.

Maybe one day I will have another. In a dream world I'd have lots of money and spare time to devote to multiple children. But for now I am happy with my one.

I had 4, gave it little thought tbh
Just got broody and had another.

I’m exhausted, it’s wonderful but very repetitive.

Wanted 4, have 2.

Grateful for my healthy (mainly) well adjusted kids but it took a while to make peace that this is it for our family.

We got a dog to help fill the void and he'll never grow out of the cuddly stage.

3 3 best decisions of my life Smile

Always wanted at least 3. Had one, didn't want anymore. Had a wobble, miscarriage, no more. One is perfect for me.
