Oh yes, every day is a bit darker and a bit better. I've noticed the early mornings are darker too, more so than the evenings. It's all good!

It's dark now in NE Fife. Lots of spiders appeared today which makes me feel like we're heading towards autumn. I love it!

I must admit although I hate the heat of summer I like the light mornings and evenings, I love being able to go to the allotment for an hour after dinner or just sit out on the patio.

Eeeek I love it! Autumn/winter are such lovely seasons. It brings out the romantic in me and stops me from overeating/drinking like I do in the summer months.

I can’t wait for the day trippers to leave this area in peace and I can put a proper duvet on the bed and not be drenched in sweat and have to sleep wearing an eye mask, with daylight searing my eyes for 18 hours a day and night. The lovely cocoon of dark and proper clothes, gorgeous leaves and crisp air await.

We've only just got into August 😮 August is meant to be still summer... Seems like we've only had a couple of weeks of sun this year and I've been in work for most of it. I'm like a milk bottle!! Please don't say summer is over already?!
