Yes. Really dark here tonight in NE Scotland. I've had my summer holidays so I'm quite ready for autumn arriving. 🍁

My summer holiday isn't for another 6 weeks but I expect Autumn will be well underway when we get back (end Sept)

Oh yes, every day is a bit darker and a bit better. I've noticed the early mornings are darker too, more so than the evenings. It's all good!

Yes and I love it - hoping for an Indian summer after spending a small fortune on my tiny garden last month - haven’t really been able to sit out there much!

It's dark now in NE Fife. Lots of spiders appeared today which makes me feel like we're heading towards autumn. I love it!

Night time should be dark and cool, I hate the 4 am starts and sweaty nights.

In recent weeks it's been too hot to use my garden. Hoping for a cool down. I am watching Handmaids Tale with my patio doors open. It is pitch black outside and there is a cool breeze coming in. Lovely.

Me too, sat by the open French doors eating chocolate and having a glass of wine listening to the Beekeeper of Aleppo.

I must admit although I hate the heat of summer I like the light mornings and evenings, I love being able to go to the allotment for an hour after dinner or just sit out on the patio.

Eeeek I love it! Autumn/winter are such lovely seasons. It brings out the romantic in me and stops me from overeating/drinking like I do in the summer months.

I can’t wait for the day trippers to leave this area in peace and I can put a proper duvet on the bed and not be drenched in sweat and have to sleep wearing an eye mask, with daylight searing my eyes for 18 hours a day and night. The lovely cocoon of dark and proper clothes, gorgeous leaves and crisp air await.

We've only just got into August 😮 August is meant to be still summer... Seems like we've only had a couple of weeks of sun this year and I've been in work for most of it. I'm like a milk bottle!! Please don't say summer is over already?!
