Yes. It’s becoming a common occurrence. I seem to have insomnia for the past few nights

MyElbowIsItchy · 04/08/2019 02:09

Me. Am just back from our staff summer night out

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:12

did you have a good night Elbow?
Sea- thats not great. i struggled to sleep last night too and im starting to wonder if its because of the heat?

AtSea1979 · 04/08/2019 02:14

I blame the heat too, think it’s just habit now.

DramaAlpaca · 04/08/2019 02:15

I'm awake as usual at this hour, I'm a night owl. Actually I'm just off to bed as I have to be up in the morning, earlier than I'd like to be.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:17

I have to be up at 8 in the morning and i know i will hate myself later, but i just cannot sleep :(

Awake and stressing.usual state of affairs over here

AtSea1979 · 04/08/2019 02:19

I seem to wake up at 7:30 every morning, despite not needing to be up until 9. At least I don’t have to function much tomorrow

AtSea1979 · 04/08/2019 02:20

I also spent my time googling my ex to find he’s married and got a baby which is probably not helping my mind to settle!

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:21

i am considering going to boil the kettle for a cup of decaf tea, but i dont want to wake dc up so may have to ignore that idea

I've been on the phone to my sister in the states... and now I'm hyper awake!

sorry Sea :( try not to think about it, maybe read a book or something?

OP posts:
AtSea1979 · 04/08/2019 02:26

I should probably read rather than be on my phone. A cup of tea sounds like a good idea!

EleanorReally · 04/08/2019 02:27

I just woke, currently drinking tea and wondering which time zone dd is in. Flying back today from Asia

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:27

i decided to brave boiling the kettle...and one of my twins woke up. she is currently lying in my bed with dh, and is back asleep, so am hoping she stays that way!

We are driving home from the airport. I have never felt as tired as I do now. Dd1 says she feels I'll but is just tired like everyone else and dd2 is asleep.
We got on the transfer to the airport in Majorca at 6 pm and are now ten mins from home.
Driving holiday next year me thinks

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:29

2.30....im going to regret this tomorrow

Inarightpickleandpreserve · 04/08/2019 02:29

I’m awake. I’m in France on holiday which is lush (never been and it’s gone surprisingly well so far!) however I’m doing that ‘bed jigsaw’ thing where you share a bed with your child and they sleep in ludicrously awkward position and you end up trying to fit round them.
I’m too scared to move her in case she wakes and talks at me again!!

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:30

ooh lucky you though Led, did you have a good time?

OP posts:
Inarightpickleandpreserve · 04/08/2019 02:31

Ledkr me too, I’m stressed about getting home Tuesday as we are meant to come back into Heathrow and strikes announced. Car next time somewhere more local for me

neweeeyebrows · 04/08/2019 02:32

Me - I was asleep but a dog has been barking nearby for over an hour... Angry

Rarfy · 04/08/2019 02:41

Here too. 7 month old dd is on her third night of being poorly. Just dosed her up on calpol. Saline spray and a few ounces of milk so she might be ready for her cot soon. Poor baby!

sleepismysuperpower1 · 04/08/2019 02:45

Rarfy- oh bless her. hope she feels better soon x

I'm awake. First night home from hospital and missing the morphine! DH is angry with me and has stormed off to the living room because I was noisy (fixing my leg brace (Velcro straps) and crutches) getting to the bathroom and I turned the light on before I closed the bathroom door. Then as he was awake I asked him to get me an ice pack out.
Now he's stormed off after asking me how I expect him to work next week if I'm going to disturb him every night....

Little worried about how I'm going to manage, especially when DC come home. I don't fancy using crutches in the dark. And don't know how to make it quieter. Tips gratefully received.

Frownette · 04/08/2019 02:50

Yes, fell asleep really early and now woken
