Aldi’s Tresemme copy.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 03/08/2019 20:27

Shampoo bar that does the work of both

TheWoollybacksWife · 03/08/2019 20:32

I am currently using Bio Renew Rosemary and Herbs. I love the smell and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. The only problem is I can't seem to find it in any shops. I have half a bottle of both the shampoo and the conditioner left and I have scoured online and in store.

Not much use to you. Sorry 😂 but it is lovely if you can get your hands on some.

Faith in Nature. It’s lovely. Dr Organic is also fab.

PancakeAndKeith · 03/08/2019 20:35

Aldi’s Tresemme copy.

Another vote for that.

I have 2 lush shampoo bars on the go. Seanik and Ive forgotten the name of the other one but it's quite lemony. Both incredible for my previously super greasy hair. I no longer have to wash it every day.

HazelBite · 03/08/2019 20:39

Whatever I can get in Poundland (apart from Alberto Balsam)
I bought some interesting banana "flavoured" one there recently it was quite nice. My current favourite is the Dove intensive repair range, that is really lovely (and cheap!)

ShrodingersRat · 03/08/2019 20:43

Aussie

I used to use Charles Worthington as it created real shine but I stopped when they changed to an unusable bottle. I think they have changed back now so I might go back.

Nicky Clarke was good too, changed due to change of bottle, might go back now it is different again.

Why the hell they use awkward stiff bottles that don’t work I don’t know!

SallyWD · 03/08/2019 20:47

A henna colour maintenance shampoo.

LolaSmiles · 03/08/2019 20:49

Aldi's Aussie imitation most of the time.

Head and shoulders

MrsPnut · 03/08/2019 20:54

I use mane and tail shampoo, or a herbal essences one. Whatever is in the shower that I have bought my kids.

olivo · 03/08/2019 20:56

I use John Freida go blonder. The pump version is really economical and it highlights my blonde bits!

DontCallMeShitley · 03/08/2019 20:57

Mane & Tail, Avalon Organics Lemon and a discontinued Herbal Essences clarifying shampoo.

No conditioner.

SistersOfPercy · 03/08/2019 21:00

Recently tried the new soap and glory shampoo and conditioner. Horrible stuff.
Thick, doesnt lather and leaves my hair all lank and horrible.

I keep going back to herbal essences

PixieLumos · 03/08/2019 21:14

Pantene Superfood recently (I go through many different ones). When I was pregnant and had nice thick hair Superdrug own brand worked great as well.

BentNeckLady · 03/08/2019 21:15

A shampoo bar and no conditioner.

Jupiter13 · 03/08/2019 21:28

Normally use Lidl washing up liquid....I've found it much better than expensive shampoo.

bluebump · 03/08/2019 21:29

Phillip Kingsley, I got it when it was on a brilliant offer on QVC.

icelollycraving · 03/08/2019 21:30

L’ Occitane. I really love Phil Smith which you can get at Sainsbury’s. Cruelty and paraben free (I think) and the only thing that never irritates my tricky scalp.
My expensive favourite is Oribe.

Kalim8 · 03/08/2019 21:55

Shampoo bar with conditioning oil for a couple of weeks (feels a bit stiff/greasy).

Anyone else found that the size of the aldi tresemme bottles has decreased considerably?

suze28 · 03/08/2019 22:30

Maui shampoo for dry hair and any old conditioner on the ends (my hair is long)

Sforsh49 · 03/08/2019 22:56

Wella Invigio (1L pump bottle off Amazon is about £15 if you shop around and cheaper than buying smaller bottles of pretty much most "professional" ranges in Boots/Tesco and lasts me 2 months of 5 washes a week) with a Vosene alternate wash once or twice a week. I love Vosene but can't use it every day, leaves hair so soft and shiny!!

Mayborn · 03/08/2019 22:58

Aveda cherry almond, drops my fine hair from getting greasy But would still like a bit more shine.

How can I get shine with a lightweight shampoo / conditioner??
