Avon or Head & Shoulders - alternate them.

Onemorefortheroad · 03/08/2019 23:01

Waterman's grow me shampoo and conditioner. Hair is great condition and doesn't affect my sensitive scalp!

Chartreuser · 03/08/2019 23:07

Charles Worthington Micellar shampoo and Tresemme perfectly undine conditioner (loosely doing Curly Girl) . Once a week I use superdrug anti dandruff shampoo and sometimes use a Lush shampoo bar cos I fancy (but they have also so not CG friendly)

Rationing last Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner which is lovely but in too much plastic so won't rebuy, shame as works well on all our hair

My hair is thick, long and coarse/pouffy/frizzy so I use a quick cheap shampoo for the initial wash (Alberto Balsam at the moment but it's not very nice), then follow up with a T/gel wash for my itchy scalp.

Then I have to slap on tons of conditioner - my fave is Faith in Nature aloe vera, but I also have a variety of others kicking around - Tresemme makes my scalp flare up but I've got two huge bottles to finish. I'm in the market for a change but there's so much to choose from.

Wearenotyourkind · 03/08/2019 23:09

Can anyone recommend a good one for hair that is prone to being greasy?

IncyWincyGrownUp · 03/08/2019 23:14

Nizoral and a fig conditioner for the ends that my hairdresser gave me. My hair is naff, but I’ll take naff hair over a bleeding scalp.

Auldspinster · 03/08/2019 23:16

I alternate aldi's version of head and shoulders or the banana stuff from poundland or savers. Use wilko kids detangler or asda kids leave in conditioner.

Superlooper · 03/08/2019 23:20

Tresemme is the only shampoo I can use every day (greasy hair). And the Aldi version is not as good imo, has to be the real one.

emmac98 · 03/08/2019 23:22

Revitalise me hair care by Elemis , expensive but wow the results. Then I put Morrocon oil in when it's still damp, that isn't expensive and it makes ur hair ridiculously soft

TheInebriati · 03/08/2019 23:22

Wearenotyourkind I can wash mine every other day when I use Tesco Everyday Value.

PickAChew · 03/08/2019 23:22

Mostly Cantu. Been using Dr Organics manuka Honey shampoo when the weather was hot, as my hair gets oily in the heat, but it leaves my hair a bit sticky and prone to matting.

PannacottaLotta · 03/08/2019 23:25

I use Hask argon oil shampoo. It's sulfate and paraben free! Smells of oranges and is the best shampoo I've ever used. I buy it in Superdrug. I also use a leave in conditioner foam by Milkshake. It smells like vanilla and whipped cream! Every few weeks I'll do an olaplex 3 conditioning treatment too.

Cwenthryth · 03/08/2019 23:26

Faith In Nature, I love the Rose & Neroli one from the brave botanicals range. I stock up a few times a year when they’re discounted on their website and buy enough to get free delivery.

Soola · 03/08/2019 23:26

Percy & Reed Really Rather Radiant Divine Shine Shampoo and the same conditioner.

Sometimes I buy their silky moisturising ones as well.

I also use their wonder balm as well as their Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery every now and then as a boost.

unicornsrule · 03/08/2019 23:27

Elvive red bottle for coloured hair

WalkAwaySugarbear · 03/08/2019 23:30

Lush soak and float shampoo bar and aldi tresemme conditioner.

PolkadotLollipop · 03/08/2019 23:33

Kiehls olive fruit oil shampoo (only good if you have very dry/ processed hair)
Kiehls damage repairing & rehydrating conditioner (again, great if you have very dry, coarse, or processed hair)

Sometimes, Redken All Soft s&c or Joico K-PAC s&c

FlugTheJug · 03/08/2019 23:37

The red Bed Head one from Home Bargains for £6..

But I do a twice weekly Vosene wash too - that gets rid of build up

Ronsters · 04/08/2019 07:20

Elvive shampoo and conditioner, in the brown bottle, think with Argan oil.
Its the only one that makes my thick, wavy hair smooth.

Bluesheep8 · 04/08/2019 08:01

I use Liz Earle when I can afford it and Aldi Aussie copy, the every day one when I can't. Not much difference in my hair tbh so may well stick with the Aldi ones

Nkcofo · 04/08/2019 08:58

Cantu sulphate ftee shampoo and theleave in conditioner by cantu too.
