BasinHaircut · 03/08/2019 10:28

Going away next weekend and I’m writing my list for packing. I have the following subcategories:

Clothes day
Clothes night
Underwear
Swimwear
Toiletries
Make up
Hair stuff
Medication
Toys and stuff for DS
Book

What have I forgotten?

Jewellery, bag to put dirty washing in, pen and paper, sunglasses, plasters.

TipseyTorvey · 03/08/2019 14:00

Based on an amazing thread about two years ago my absolute favourite things to take on holiday now are those over door plastic shoe holder thingies. Never lose anything in the hotel/apartment/villa again. Also lots of medical supplies. And because I'm now really middle aged : teabags and decent sized mugs Grin

StealthPolarBear · 03/08/2019 14:01

MaudesMum · 03/08/2019 14:21

I'm just back and the two useful things I forgot were a pen and headphones for my phone. Bought a pen at the airport, didn't buy headphones as I already have several extra pairs due to similar forgetting. Small umbrella would have also been useful, given rain was forecast and it was too warm to wear a waterproof.
