SO fucked off with work situation

Will try to keep this as vague as possible.

Very young girl, basic admin job, shagging very senior manager (married).

Today we all get an email that she will be “acting up” in a manger role for the foreseeable. This is not office gossip, she was very vocal to a few other admin girls that they were shagging and I’d say about 25% of our department know.

She came in this morning dressed like she was going into an executive board meeting for a Fortune 500 company.

I’m utterly utterly fucked off with hearing about people getting jobs and being promoted for shagging the managers. How are these men still in a job!! HOW?!

I’m going to end up being sacked or walking out, I cannot take orders from someone with very basic admin knowledge of our department I just fucking can’t . She came into our office earlier to ask if she could take our fan as it was needed in her office . A fan owned by a staff member. God this is just going to be the start of it

I don't think HR will do much. Your only bet may be an anonymous email to the wife. I'd want to know if an entire office was aware my partner was sleeping with someone else and I was oblivious. Awful and humiliating.

I think this thread is about older women being annoyed with younger women .

I stand by my comment that it is actually the men that are the true culprits in the majority of scenarios
We don’t know if this young lady is being manipulated by that man , a lot of the time they are . These men who pretend to mentor young women be friends and next thing they know , they think their work success depends on keeping this thing going with the married man or genuinely believe its love

We can hate this young lady all we like but we don’t know if it’s all her fault , after all the man is married , and her boss , probably older , surely for those reasons he is most to blame .

Loopytiles - you are totes spot on with "Colleagues have been discussing......." Unfort the situ is rife everywhere now, private and public sector, that really really unsuitable folk get promotion on a whim of shagging or even (and this is true) someone I "knew" used to drop her paperwork on the floor in front of various bosses and then bend right down in front of him and go oooh, I am sooo sorry - as her tits appeared as she bent down. I felt I was in a Carry On film but it worked for her - Mr StupidO'Clock got her promoted. I was shocked and not "Oh it should've been me" but because her Barbara Windsor act actually WORKED.

Agree that the disdain should be directed at the men. Despicable behaviour.

But as you learn on the FWR boards, women are trained to hate other women.
