If someone gave you £20,000 tax free what would you spend it on?
You can't spend it on bills or day to day expenses.

A patio roof with fans, and replace 2 broken windows

I would buy £20,000 worth of Vanguard index funds or if ISAs were full then pop into retirement accounts.

Sorry, boring. But if it performs well that could mean a couple more years of retirement which is priceless!
