What's your MBTI type?

I'm an INFP. At first I felt kind of affronted, but actually think in many ways it's rather accurate.

Obviously juat for fun. Not suggesting you can tell the personality of someone straight away by using 16 types before someone comes on and says it's bollocks/why do I believe in it etc.

I think DH is ISTP.

INFJ- One of the rarest personality types. It was 100% accurate for me.

ineedaknittedhat · 20/07/2019 03:58

I'm an infj and it seems to fit.

SouthWestmom · 20/07/2019 04:00

Intj-d the architect

Surprised at how accurate it is

YeOldeTrout · 20/07/2019 05:18

Dunno. I get different results each time I do it. Today = ISTJ.
I'm always a T; the other letters vary.
I call myself a noisy sloppy introvert.
I panic in a crisis, my desk is a mess, I enjoy crowds.
At work we just did a variant (personality test) called Insights... me & my boss are opposites. We get along fine even though I'm supposed to be a suspicious insensitive grump & he is supposed to be a snowflake bullshitter (neither is remotely true description).

What's your MBTI type?
Graphista · 20/07/2019 05:59

Apparently I'm a campaigner - enfp-t

From the little I've read so far it's fairly accurate - even including the Liking for long distance relationships! I hadn't twigged until I read that, that my 3 major relationships all started out as long distance!

The career part is interesting as I've had a LOT of very different seemingly unconnected jobs. I believed because of being an army brat then army wife so dictated by circumstance - but maybe I'm wrong? Certainly the type of work I like is accurate (people focused). I like an element of routine but not unwaveringly so. And I do get bored easily if there's too much routine - but what's puzzled me for years is there's certain jobs I've had where the job was very routine based (eg factory work) but I still had a lot of contact with people and lots of social interaction which made those jobs enjoyable - or perhaps more accurately the time spent doing them?

Totally agree I hate being micromanaged! It feels like I'm not being trusted to do the job. Claustrophobic!

Definitely agree that as a manager I hated if I had to use a "stick" much preferred to use a "carrot" - but I did it if necessary. But no not my preferred method.

GotToGoMyOwnWay · 20/07/2019 06:19

Well I’m a campaigner - who knew? It doesn’t really fit so I’m not sure?

Anyone got a link to the official one as I would quite like to try again - I will report back Wink

Wincarnis · 20/07/2019 06:40

ISFJ-T( Defender)

666onmyhead · 20/07/2019 06:53

What the heck are you all taking about ????

Isleepinahedgefund · 20/07/2019 06:57

ENFP - very accurate for me!

I coach people a lot and I find it helpful to know a person's Myers Briggs profile.

Maranello4 · 20/07/2019 06:58

ESTJ - very accurate! The Supervisor..,,I like creating order out of chaos Smile

Isleepinahedgefund · 20/07/2019 07:00

Extrovert/introvert in this context doesn't mean what you think - it refers to where to draw your energy from. So an E type will feel energised by a big social event, whereas and I type will feel their energy has been depleted. Both may present as shy, outgoing, reserved etc.

RezCowgirl · 20/07/2019 07:04

Changes every time I do it. At the moment I'm a ISTP-A / ISTP-T virtuoso. Last time I used to be INTP, -A/-T logician.

MrsSchadenfreude · 20/07/2019 07:06

INTP. I just get more extreme the older I get.

Skyejuly · 20/07/2019 07:08

INFJ

BitchQueen90 · 20/07/2019 07:08

I am also an ESTJ. Done the test a few times and always the same result.

mellongoose · 20/07/2019 07:09

I've just done it and I am ENFJ-T. Not sure what the T is for.

Pretty accurate and explains a lot!

LaurieFairyCake · 20/07/2019 07:13

Infj- the 'rarest' - yet there's tons of infj's on here.

Waves to all other weirdo infj's

bookworm14 · 20/07/2019 07:15

INFJ. Which is supposedly the rarest personality type, but there always seem to be loads of them when this question is asked!

Animum2 · 20/07/2019 07:18

Isfj

Helloitsmemargaret · 20/07/2019 07:20

INFJ too. Perhaps we're attracted to Mumsnet Grin

Strictly1 · 20/07/2019 07:25

ISTJ - a HT and accurate.

ArgyMargy · 20/07/2019 07:26

ISTP today - problem solver. Not sure about that! @Isleepinahedgefund is spot on re: introvert/extrovert. I'm massive introvert but people are always surprised to hear it because they think it means shy.

flissity · 20/07/2019 07:28

First time I have heard of/taken this!

ENFJ-A Protagonist

Apparently only 2% of population are. I would say reading g it it is extremely accurate for me Shock spooky!

MoodyFucker · 20/07/2019 07:31

I always come up as INTJ but when I read about myself some parts of it are soooo not me. Like I'm self confident and a strong analyser or something- erm no It couldn't be further from the truth!

Blueuggboots · 20/07/2019 07:34

Isfp-t
