For me it's red lipstick and high heels. I think I look great in both and I really really don't Confused

Shoes! Sandals! Scarves! Stuff! Grin

Candyfloff · 17/07/2019 22:19

Fabric Conditioner. I put my shopping away earlier (after buying 2 more bottles of the stuff) and counted 14 bottles.
Same thing goes for Scent Beads and Dryer Sheets.
I am absolutely nuts for Laundry products - can spend a huge chunk of time in that aisle.

Clothes that don’t suit me. I have a particular knack of buying a type of top which due to stiffness of material/cut/width etc sticks out making me look quite pregnant. I am small build and slim. I have several of them. I have given many away. It’s like a magnet. I hate it.

Shower gels, I hav3 a thing that if I see a new one I must buy it... currentley have 15 in the wardrobe an ano her 5 in a separate bag. Also socks. If I see ones I’ve never had before I have to buy them, I currently have a whole plastic bag full 😂

Candyfloff · 17/07/2019 22:22

Also Radox Stress Relief bubble bath. I've found 1L bottles of the stuff now - I have 4 'in stock' at the moment, plus one on the go.

I'm also a bit crazy for candles, bedding, dressing gowns, PJs, loungewear, socks and slippers.

Fake Tan (have a drawer full of the stuff), perfumes and high end makeup.

Finally Shoes and Scarves.

I found some chocolate covered waffles in Lidl.
I promise myself I won't go for more but my car drives itself there.

Voluminous skirts, that make my hips and arse look enormous....

But sometimes I think that's a nice rustic look....

Same with peasant blouses, balloon sleeves, broderie anglaise, voluminous tops with shirred waists

DH just asks bewildered if I'm off to audition for Mask of Zorro

Yet I keep falling for this style

Why

SushiTime · 17/07/2019 22:39

Fucking wine.

Notcontent · 17/07/2019 23:15

Clothes. I go through phases when I am very good and don’t buy much. Not in that phase at the moment... i buy new things sometimes, but charity shops are my particular weakness...

Poppins2016 · 18/07/2019 02:45

Plants. I think I'm addicted. I simply don't have space for any more in my garden (without digging out yet more flower bed...).

Aus84 · 18/07/2019 03:11

Dresses, any kind. I do look good in them but I don't have enough occasions to wear them. Even the casual dresses don't get worn as I am a jeans and T-shirt's kinda gal and prefer the comfort of casual. They look great in my wardrobe though...

Aus84 · 18/07/2019 03:13

Oh but my almost teen daughter is starting the wear them so not so much of a waste..

Decormad38 · 18/07/2019 07:12

Clothes from Jigsaw

Rarfy · 18/07/2019 07:15

Coca cola, so bad for me but if it's there I can't resist it.

Cheap clothes that last two washes when I am skint then a week later having no clothes again because the ones I bought were so crap.

Ella's kitchen pouches for dd when my intentions are to make food myself Shock I just can't get the consistency right and always feel once defrosted again it's not right.

joystir59 · 18/07/2019 07:41

Mosaic tiles. I am a mosaic artist and always buy extra beautiful tiles when ordering for a project

wichitalinemanswoman · 18/07/2019 10:48

Chunky bracelets (another one!)

Second hand books and yarn.

We have enough in the loft that it’ll never need lagging! I did get rid of about 500 books at the beginning of the year, but more have snuck in since.

As for the yarn - in my defence I knit for a preemie charity, so need lots (that’s what I tell DH) - and having got my housebound Mum involved, I also buy to send to her.

Having said that, I have fifteen storage boxes up there!! Blush

woodhill · 18/07/2019 10:57

Love shower gels and soap as well

MissusDave · 21/07/2019 14:53

Fabric. Especially fat quarters on special offer in Hobbycraft.

Chocolate / cake / pudding

Clothes for DD (because I can never find anything nice for myself, see also chocolate / cake / pudding... 🙄)

BillywigSting · 21/07/2019 15:00

Nail polish.

My nails are a really nice shape naturally but my cuticles are half way up them and I have to keep them quite short for work.

I keep buying nail polishes in lots of very beautiful colours thinking I'll use them on my days off, won't cut my nails two days before and they'll be a nice length, I'll give myself a little manicure when I get home.

Has literally never happened.

My nails are completely wasted on me, and so is all my polish.

thebear1 · 21/07/2019 15:09

Clothes off eBay and lunch at work.

BahHumbygge · 21/07/2019 15:19

Charity shop clothes
Charity shop books
Charity shop bric a brac, esp nice mugs
GF Portuguese custard tarts

OneOfOurOwn · 21/07/2019 15:23

Stationery. Particularly notebooks.

PivotPivotPivottt · 21/07/2019 15:30

Chinese takeaways.

I'm skint and spend everything I have on my children so this is my only treat. Then I complain about not having any money to buy myself new clothes, the money I spend on takeaways every month could easily get me some clothes.

When I do go to buy clothes I end up feeling shit because I need a bigger size because of the fucking takeaways and end up going home empty handed.
