For me it's red lipstick and high heels. I think I look great in both and I really really don't Confused

Beauty products. I could live through a nuclear winter with what's in my wardrobe. I love it though, choosing which nice products to use every day.

YY to second hand books. Out of control.

Multipack Twirls. Neither of us stand a chance.

dudsville I keep buying things on eBay and they get tried on and go straight in the charity bag because they're not suitable to resell. I argue that it's worth it for the things that are amazing for a fraction of the price.

Diary Milk Daim I love them but they are so bad for me!!!

expensive food and way too much of it. This includes bought breakfasts and lunches every day at work. Something nice for dinner, something nice for after dinner. Something nice for breakfast at the weekends, nice bread and cakes as I deserve a treat at the weekends. I am spending all my disposable income on food that I could buy for a fraction of the price.

Craftycorvid · 17/07/2019 09:01

Charity shopping. Blush. Every so often I’ll have a purge of what I don’t need/don’t wear but then it creeps back again.

BenWillbondsPants · 17/07/2019 09:17

Clothes that I'll 'slim into'.

fishonabicycle · 17/07/2019 09:18

Nude lipsticks, cheap kindle books.

Giggorata · 17/07/2019 09:21

Used books here, too. I maintain the fiction that I will read them all when I am retired. I might even manage it, if I live to be 100.

Clothes. I have more than enough and yet... and I do the eBay, into the charity shop bag thing, too.

I don't want to get started on food.

I also have a weakness for pretty lamps...

Dippypippy1980 · 17/07/2019 09:22

Ice cream.

Dresses.

New running clothes.

Cinnamon swirls

I came on to say this too. Bloody love them.

Shoes. I am a sucker for expensive shoes that are heavily discounted at sale time. It's like I can't help myself. No-one needs this many shoes. Thank God the sales are almost over.

Sample sales. Same logic as the shoes. I have some amazing unique pieces I've got at sample sales but there are times I wish I could just walk past and keep going but I rarely have the discipline.

Carrot cake. There is a lovely man who has a stall at a farmer's market near me and he makes the best carrot cake ever. I am addicted. I haven't seen him for a few weeks because I've been working but I've had a 'tip-off' that he's doing a pop-up somewhere nearby today. The 1 hour walk there and back will not be anywhere near enough exercise to offset the calories I will consume.

Zaphodsotherhead · 17/07/2019 10:08

Bedding. I am a sucker for new duvet covers and sheets. I only have one bed, but there's enough bedding in the trunk for me to open a hotel.

I buy a design I think looks nice, take it home, put it away for 'when I change the bed next,' forget about it until I open the bedding store next time I buy new bedding.

I tend to wash my bedding and put it straight back on - I like the smell of newly washed and line-dried bedding, hence the 'never open the bedding trunk'.

tenredthings · 17/07/2019 10:10

I'm trying to not buy everything which is wrapped in plastic, which is nearly everything I need to buy. Microplastics are killing our seas, contaminating our water supplies, killing wildlife and poisoning us.

MaMisled · 17/07/2019 10:13

Second hand clothes from Ebay. Cant wrap my head around being a size 10 after dropping four and a half stone and just love typing size 10 in the search bar.

amusedbush · 17/07/2019 10:14

Takeaway coffee. I spend so, so much money on coffees.

nakedscientist · 17/07/2019 10:16

Clothes. In the hope that something will make me young and beautiful again Grin

DontCallMeShitley · 17/07/2019 12:28

Tony's Chocolonely - if it is in the house I can't leave it alone.

Paint, I know I won't get around to using it but I still get an idea and buy the paint for it, have stacks of tins in the garage and the house still needs painting, and the fence, and the shed..

ComtesseDeSpair · 17/07/2019 12:42

The Holland and Barratt 1kg bags of mixed nuts and fruits, particularly when they are in the buy one get one half price sale. I convince myself that 2kg of fruit and nuts will last me months when in reality I will scoff the lot in little more than a week.

fuckingtwats · 17/07/2019 13:01

Stationery. Just can't help myself.

Chilledout11 · 17/07/2019 13:05

Pretty notebooks that I never use 🙄
Also shrubs for the garden. Really have too many as they will spread. But want more 🤣
