Summer dresses with bras showing

Is this a thing now?
Over the last couple of weeks I've seen dozens of women wearing dresses which show their bras.
Not just straps but strapless or low backed dresses with a giant m&s boulder holder with the straps, top of the front and most of the back showing.
When I were a lass that wasn't something I saw anyone do. Is it normal now or do I live in a weird fashion microcosm?

Straps are fine, I really can’t get offended over a chuffing bra strap. Not so cool seeing the whole bra, mind...

On a similar note, I bought a beautiful dress but it was a little bit see through.

I spent AGES trying to find a simple petticoat to wear underneath. I didn't want shape wear, no spanx, just something simple to cover my pants. It felt like I was shopping for something Victorian!

When I finally found one I mentioned it to a (much, much) younger friend and she was like wow, that's a genius idea, I've never heard of such a thing. 🙈🙄

@HeronLanyon you get me wrong - I have literally no opinion on what other people wear or look like. I do have an opinion on people who judge others for really pointless and I consequential stuff like this. I like to live by the principle ‘those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind’.

I don’t mind. I certainly show my bra straps and prob the back of my bra. I have conditions so am restricted with underwear/clothes i can wear. If my bra is showing and it bothers people, it’s their problem, not mine!

I saw a woman yesterday wearing a vest top without a bra. All you could literally see are her erected nipples

I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't the done thing, but I've got used to it now. Personally I feel happier in a bra that isn't lacy or obviously underwear if it's going to be on show, more of a crop top or plain tshirt bra. Then it just looks more like wearing layers than having your undies on show. Not that I care what other women wear though, it's up to the individual.

I think people showing underwear are slovenly. Whether they say they are a boy or girl or unicorn. Whether it is pants or bra. It is underwear or clothes you wear underneath your outer clothes.
