Just want to express my relief

I can't do it IRL

Bitching and moaning and abuse about my wedding plans. My mum going overboard and expecting a Royal style event, then falling out with me and declaring she wasn't coming second fucking wedding, she also wrecked the first

So fuck it

No one is coming

We've just booked a trip to Las Vegas and will get married for about $300 possibly by Elvis

OH and she went to a wedding fair with her sister. To get ideas

It dominated everything. I said I wanted twenty people and to go on holiday that evening

I couldn't care less where we get married, I just cannot wait to be with the most phenomenal man

Enjoy! Las Vegas is an awesome place in a 'OMG is this real?' sort of a way.
Have a fabulous time! (I was there in 2017 for a few days and it was great. And hot!

We had ourselves and two non-family witnesses. One was someone we know (and like) from the school run. Wedding breakfast was lunch for 4 at a cafe next to the registry office. Legal side done and dusted 👍

Erm and meant to say: good for you! The wedding’s not the point, the marriage is. Big weddings are great for those who want them.

I got married in Vegas in October! Just the 2 of us. You can literally get married in a drive through if it takes your fancy 😂

We've been to Vegas before and totally fell in love with the city

My friend went to Gretna Green for all the same reasons. They had a wonderful time and had a small party of all the people they wanted a few months later.

I did similar many moons ago. Parents recently divorced and refused to be in the same room as each other, so I cancelled my big wedding and three weeks later wed at the local registry office.

Caesar's Palace is awesome, we stayed there last year. I loved just looking around all the different hotels but I thought Caesar's was the best. Hope you have a great time.
