What's the last thing that you watched/listened to that really made you laugh out loud?

Random reason for asking - we are going through IVF and I've got my embryo transfer on Monday.

There was a study that showed that women who were entertained by a clown and laughed a lot for 15 minutes after their embryo transfer were almost twice as likely for the embryo to implant than women who didn't have the clown!

So, looking for suggestions of something to watch/listen to after ET that will really make me laugh!

I found Santa Clarita Diet really funny. It can be a little bit gruesome though.

Two Doors Down. And lots of clips from Graham Norton.

chocolatiers · 06/07/2019 13:13

My Dad Wrote A Porno podcast. I ache after listening to it it's so funny. It's got me through some really tough days recently. Best of luck for your appointment. Thanks

FissionChips · 06/07/2019 13:13

(It’s not a normal peppa pig episode, try it.)

ButterflyBitch · 06/07/2019 13:14

Yep Graham Norton clips that pop up on Facebook. Always make me laugh.

SyrilSneer · 06/07/2019 13:16

Friday Night Dinner has made me do a MN style drink spit a few times. Stepbrothers is the funniest film I’ve ever seen but not at all highbrow humour 😂

StrippingTheVelvet · 06/07/2019 13:19

Wanda Sykes has a really funny stand up show on Netflix. Literally lolling (!?) the whole way through.

Zaphodsotherhead · 06/07/2019 13:22

Upstart Crow. Gently amusing, very funny.

RubaiyatOfAnyone · 06/07/2019 13:22

30 Rock. (channel 4 box set)
Life in Pieces (I think on Netflix)

gotmychocolateimgood · 06/07/2019 13:28

Stranger Things series 3!

BrokenWing · 06/07/2019 13:35

I was also going to say Two Doors Down

We binged watched it earlier this year when series 4 came out, brilliant TV, but you need to enjoy Scottish near the knuckle humour to really appreciate it.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 06/07/2019 13:51

Athletico mince podcast. Recommended to work mate, he almost crashed the car.
But seriously , clowns? What weirdos find them creepy fuckers funny?
Much good luck op.

AliciaWhiskers · 06/07/2019 13:59

@Ohwhatfuckeryisthisnow - I know re the clowns. They were described as “medical clowns”. The mind boggles!

YY to What we do in the Shadows, I hadn’t laughed at anything on TV out loud for ages.

MairzyDoats · 06/07/2019 16:22

I cannot believe that anyone actually finds clowns funny. But apart from that it's a lovely theory so good luck!! I laughed out loud this morning reading the thread about helping elderly parents with technology - woke OH up snorting!

Raera · 06/07/2019 18:04

I'm sorry I haven't a clue. Radio 4. The repeat will be on tomorrow lunchtime

Giraffeinabox · 06/07/2019 18:06

The shagged married annoyed podcast is so funny!

igotdemons · 06/07/2019 18:17

Discovered ‘Two Doors Down’ a few months back, just in time to watch the latest series and it always makes me laugh when I see an episode on the TV. I especially loved the episode ‘Eric’s Colon’ as I could sympathise 😂 It’s available on BBC iPlayer.

igotdemons · 06/07/2019 18:19

Brokenwing and Wellthatsit - you’ve both got great taste! Grin
