What's the last thing that you watched/listened to that really made you laugh out loud?

Random reason for asking - we are going through IVF and I've got my embryo transfer on Monday.

There was a study that showed that women who were entertained by a clown and laughed a lot for 15 minutes after their embryo transfer were almost twice as likely for the embryo to implant than women who didn't have the clown!

So, looking for suggestions of something to watch/listen to after ET that will really make me laugh!

Katherine Ryan has a new stand up on Netflix called glitter room. It's really funny

MustardScreams · 06/07/2019 18:25

My Dad Wrote a Porno is the last thing I really laughed out loud to. I couldn’t breathe it was so funny.

OpalTree · 06/07/2019 18:28

The Royle Family. The New Sofa episode is hilarious

Disfordarkchocolate · 06/07/2019 18:29

Friday Night Dinner. Not the last episode though. The one where puss face ends up without his trousers at Grandmas is one of my favourites, or when they need an emergency carpet cleaner.

Love Two Doors Down. Sarah Millican has a new radio series, The Elephant in the Room?

BeanoBrown · 06/07/2019 18:39

Two Doors Down is the thing that's made me laugh out loud lately, but so many of us have said it we've probably built it up too much!

You've been framed also usually has me laughing unexpectedly.

good luck

Green Wing.

SaturdaySundae · 06/07/2019 18:43

Inbetweeners!

Paddingtonthebear · 06/07/2019 18:45

This weeks Celebrity Gogglebox, I don’t watch it much but I watched last night and laughed out loud three or four times

TheRedBarrows · 06/07/2019 18:46

Dead Ringers on R4 yesterday. “Boris” being interviewed about ‘sin tax’.

Paddingtonthebear · 06/07/2019 18:46

Also, Inbetweeners, I.T Crowd and Mickey Flanagan stand up

deathb4decaf · 06/07/2019 19:26

The podcast Julia Davis did. It's called
'dear Joan and jericha'

Good luck op x

Lobsterquadrille2 · 06/07/2019 20:00

Fleabag. I'd vaguely heard of it but DD has introduced me to it this week (DD is 21). Not my usual taste but I really laughed at a couple of scenes today.

Disfordarkchocolate · 07/07/2019 11:25

Mark Steels in Town is great, especially when he's somewhere you know.

AliciaWhiskers · 08/07/2019 18:16

Thanks all! Have tried a few - really enjoying Two Doors Down and Dead Ringers. Will work through a lot of these over the next few weeks!

The last series of curb your enthusiasm, bloody brilliant!

Chartreuser · 08/07/2019 18:21

Caitlin Moran on Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast with Gi Fletcher.

My kids are a bit older so it's not normally my bag, but I like CM so thought I'd give it ago.

I was howling at the cabbages in the veg aisle at Sainsbury's in Victoria station at 7am rusty, I am surprised I wasn't carted off by people in white coats

UnalliterativeGeorge · 08/07/2019 18:23

Taskmaster

ChristineBaskets · 08/07/2019 18:52

American Dad makes me laugh more than anything else on tv right now. Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule is hilarious too in a very silly way.

I really think you can't beat Laurel and Hardy for proper belly laughs- Brats is my favourite.

ChristineBaskets · 08/07/2019 18:56

I agree about Athletico Mince too, and I know hardly anything about football! Oh and that reminds me, Vic and Bob's Big Night Out is very funny. They're shooting a new series now.

I keep thinking of more now! The I.T. Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, Flight of the Conchords, Toast, Ghosts (iplayer) all make me laugh lots.

emsmum79 · 08/07/2019 19:24

Big Bang Theory worked during my ivf!
Other than that, Derry Girls made me laugh a lot recently.

HermioneWeasley · 08/07/2019 19:28

John Finnemore’s souvenir programme on radio 4. Good luck with IVF - I’m sure laughter made a difference to us!

ComeOnGordon · 08/07/2019 19:33

I watched Janey Godley on twitter doing a voiceover of Kim Kardashian - was properly laughing

buttertoasty · 08/07/2019 19:36

Clips of Airline on YouTube. It is a programme that was on in the early 000s about EasyJet and people who turn up late for flights and blame the staff. Absolutely hysterical.

ShakespearesSisters · 08/07/2019 19:39

Another vote for task master. Watched episode 9 of current series lsst night and I was actually crying i was laughing so much, and my husband was just the same!
