I’d be staying silent. Can’t carry a tune with a bucket!

I don't have much vocal talent but did a pretty good job of 'Only You' by Yazoo in the car yesterday.

Easy. Forgot about Dre. Both Dre and Eminem's parts... I know you'd all be very impressed 😉

Chandelier by Sia is incredibly hard to sing well. I wish I could!

Kneehighinshit · 05/07/2019 17:01

Tequila by The Champs

TheFirstOHN · 05/07/2019 17:01

I look for something that's comfortably within my range, preferably in a language I'm happy singing in (e.g. I don't really enjoy singing in German).

The last audition piece I used was Ombra Mai Fu (Handel) and it went quite well.

Terrysyogurt · 05/07/2019 17:02

Daffodil I give it a good bash when drunkGrin

TheFirstOHN · 05/07/2019 17:03

It's always better to sing an easier song really well than a more difficult song less well.

TarragonSauce · 05/07/2019 17:06

London's Burning. And I can accompany myself on the recorder. Well, ok. Or both at the same time, so you get to choose vocal or instrumental. For both, you will need gin.

I always fancy I can knock out a decent version of Somebody Else's Guy but I suspect that in actual fact I'm shit and am causing the audience great pain.

TheFirstOHN · 05/07/2019 17:07

TarragonSauce singing while accompanying yourself on the recorder is certainly a unique talent.

ChihuahuaMummy1 · 05/07/2019 17:10

@PeterRabbitt I'm in awe Grin

Queen - don’t stop me now

Woman in Love by Barbra Streisand. I sound exactly like her in my head.

Kashali · 05/07/2019 17:18

The Messiah

Thousand Years

TheJellyBabyMadeMeDoIt · 05/07/2019 17:18

I'm very good at You're So Vain.

I'm not a very good singer although what I lack in talent i more than make up for in volume 😁

stucknoue · 05/07/2019 17:21

My voice is naturally quite high so pop sounds rubbish, maybe Memory from Cats? But I'm pretty rubbish, my dd is semi pro so I hear good music practiced daily!

LazyFace · 05/07/2019 17:21

Probably Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for me. 😀

FudgeBrownie2019 · 05/07/2019 17:22

Epilogue from Les Mis. I can do every single person's part. Like a gift from my mouth to the whole world.

Failing that I do a splendid You're Welcome from Moana.

EleanorOalike · 05/07/2019 17:24

Quando me'n vo' , Schubert’s Ave Maria or Let Me Be Your Star from Smash.

I do a mean Total Eclipse of The Heart too lol.

Kittywampus · 05/07/2019 17:24

I only have vocal talent when I am very drunk Wink so based on my previous karaoke history I would say bohemian rhapsody or anything by the spice girls

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 05/07/2019 17:29

"I am the very model of a modern Major General" from Pirates of Penzance Grin

notatwork · 05/07/2019 17:37

Alone in the car with no witnesses I do a fabulous rendition of 'Bring me to Life' by Evanescence.

To actually sound OK probably 'For Emily' by Art Garfunkel or something by Ruth Nottman or Lucy Ward.

BertBox · 05/07/2019 17:37

Paradise by the Dashboard Lights. The eight minute version. Though it only sounds -terrible- good after a very heavy night's drinking. 🍺
