Depends - what’s your range?

lizzlebizzle33 · 05/07/2019 17:44

I would perform the rap part of TLC waterfalls and then Simon Cowell would shut his pants

Peachesandcream14 · 05/07/2019 17:45

I got a standing ovation for my performance of Britney's Toxic at a work karaoke night, so probably that. I'm very good at mimicking if I've heard something enough times, but can't sing for shit off my own back Grin

Low by T Pain. It’s going to be my wedding entrance music x

aposterhasnoname · 05/07/2019 18:50

If I could sing, which I can’t, I’d sing power of love by Jennifer Rush.

writersbeenblocked · 05/07/2019 18:56

I would say My Love, My Life if it wasn't for that bloody ridiculous note at the end of the chorus! I always end up placing it an octave below and it sounds like an alto hijack Grin

RezCowgirl · 05/07/2019 19:05

House of pain Jump Around

imarocketman50 · 05/07/2019 19:11

Chains by Tina Arena is a good one. Did a cracking version of Whitney's I Wanna Dance with Somebody in the car the other day.
Also I Am Changing from Dreamgirls (Jennifer Hudson) is another awesome song.

LashesZ · 05/07/2019 19:32

I'm often belting out Show me heaven by Maria McKee around the house, clinging dramatically on to DP. He hates it Grin

AwdBovril · 05/07/2019 19:41

At the moment, nothing. I lost my voice a few months ago & still can't sing.

However I'm told I (normally) do a very decent Karen Carpenter. Also, Wichita Lineman, or Nights in White Satin are my drunken karaoke songs.

shartsi · 05/07/2019 19:52

Two Weeks - FKA twigs

user1469530553 · 05/07/2019 19:56

Blonde, Atomic.

LoafEater · 05/07/2019 20:00

Depends on your voice. I'm a deep Alto, so any Amy Winehouse, Brenda Lee, or songs normally sung by men! Of course I sound AMAZING in my kitchen when alone in the house!

Comefromaway · 05/07/2019 20:03

He’s My Boy from Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 05/07/2019 20:07

Well, That Old Devil Called Love sounds pretty bloody fabulous to my ears after a glass or two of wine, in the bath. Or, Love Letters. Basically anything in Alison Moyet's range although it's entirely possible I'm deluded

Alto parts are often too high for me. I once took tenor parts in a choir and was very happy Grin

AliceLutherNeeMorgan · 05/07/2019 20:07

Andante Andante by ABBA. I sound incredible (in my dreams)

soulrunner · 05/07/2019 20:12

Put it this way, when I used to sing in the shower my flat mates used to say ‘just say the words’. Grin

So on that basis, a rap.

Lessstressedhemum · 05/07/2019 20:18

What little vocal talent I have is best displayed by He Was Despised from the Messiah.
Other than that it would be songs sung by men!

TitianaTitsling · 05/07/2019 20:18

'never is a long time' by roxette in my head 'Wind the Bobbin up' in reality!

FaithInfinity · 05/07/2019 20:21

I want you to want me by Cheap Trick
I’m outta love by Anastasia
Or I agree with the pp who said Chains by Tina Arena

I love a bit of karaoke Smile

Tartyflette · 05/07/2019 20:24

'She wears red feathers and a hooly-hooly skirt' is my party piece. (Proud)
But then I'm an old gimmer.

usernamepinched · 05/07/2019 20:26

Carly Simon 'You're so vain'

hugoagogo · 05/07/2019 20:29

Small Blue Thing-Suzanne Vega

Although I would have a good stab at both the Evenescence and Maria McKee^ Grin

Thatnovembernight · 05/07/2019 20:30

Never Enough from The Greatest Showman is a good one (to belt out in the car anyway)!
