... and I'm not surprised that it's gone under offer in the few days since I found it. I love this house so much that it really did make me cry - I just want it SO DESPERATELY

What a find!!!!! I want it just for the library, as long as they leave the books!
And those views! Beautiful!!

LaLaLamp · 03/07/2019 00:45

irritating website with stupid chat window...nice views though Smile

TheoriginalLEM · 03/07/2019 00:53

That blue carpet would have to go!

domton · 03/07/2019 00:56

A million quid to live in Tenby?? Nice house though.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 03/07/2019 01:13

That's a stunning location but a seriously shitty kitchen for a million quid....

Time40 · 03/07/2019 01:18

a seriously shitty kitchen for a million quid

You're right!!! I thought that - but then, I hate cookery, so I don't give a about the kitchen ... I did think that other people wouldn't think much of it, though.

I'd worry about sea levels rising every day! Bit what a gorgeous house with a great history.

Oliversmumsarmy · 03/07/2019 01:26

Lovely position but it looks like a money pit.
It looks like it probably needs rewiring, replumbing, new bathrooms, new kitchen.

Then it would need all the walls skimming before you started on the painting and decorating.

I just wonder whether it will be back on the market when they do the survey

Soola · 03/07/2019 01:35

Yellow walls attract spiders s it’s a no from me.

It looks a bit decrepit and I imagine the tourists would be very off putting during peak season.

I prefer this blue house set further away

Um ... why???

Time40 · 03/07/2019 01:45

That's a nice house @Soola, but it's a bit too modern for my taste.

What a stunning house!

Decormad38 · 03/07/2019 05:30

Yellow walls attract spiders? I didn't know that! Was going to paint hall yellow!! Argh!

ladypenelopeplum · 03/07/2019 05:34

It's a bit over priced for a terraced house darling.

OrchidInTheSun · 03/07/2019 05:46

I have a yellow hall. I have no more spiders than I did before. Grin

Magmatic80 · 03/07/2019 06:10

A million quid and you have to park on the street fight the tourists for a spaceas far as I can work out.

BarbaraofSevillle · 03/07/2019 06:27

Agree that it's a lovely house and the kitchen is odd. Everywhere else has period features and traditional decor and then the kitchen is a 1990s B&Q special Confused.

You'd have thought they would have straightened the pictures in the bedroom for the photos though.

Going to take a hell of a moving out job for whoever lives there now, all that furniture and the books and pictures.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 03/07/2019 08:39

I’d go for Soola’s one in a heartbeat. Can’t afford it though.

ExpletiveDelighted · 03/07/2019 08:44

I love it but it would need redecorating top to bottom, the kitchen re-doing, parking is an issue and I really don't fancy the restrictions of owning a listed building.

ICanWearMyBoobsUpOrDown · 03/07/2019 08:54

Out of interest I had a look to see what's around near me in that price range. There was an 18 bedroom detached property and this little beauty

You will get better value for your fictional money around here.

PierreBezukov · 03/07/2019 08:56

It's a dream house, but a million quid? What does it say about parking, surely there's a reserved space? Still a pain if just one though.

Coldandfrosty · 03/07/2019 08:59

@ICanWearMyBoobsUpOrDown I have a lovely friend who lives in your area!

CoraPirbright · 03/07/2019 09:03

Sigh! Imagine waking up with those views!! Gosh its lovely, isnt it?! Needs entirely redecorating obviously (scarlet carpet, custard walls Shock) and the kitchen needs ripping out but it is otherwise lovely. Appallingly staged though - in the library, why have they got all those books piled on the desk but half of the shelves half empty and collapsing? Would have thought the EA would have done a better job than that!

I would be tempted to move the kitchen into that big room with the tiled floor.....but given that its listed and the conservation officers often make you feel like you need permission to open your own curtains, I wouldn’t bet on it!

ICanWearMyBoobsUpOrDown · 03/07/2019 09:06

Coldandfrosty imagine if it was me Grin
