Dear pull up nappy manufacturers

Just write Front on the front side and Back on the backside. Don't give me some sort of faded cartoon characters that I'm meant to decipher that indicate which way the nappy goes. My son doesn't give a fig what's printed on the nappy. Just make it easier for the parent.

I use ones that have a tape on the back for my son. Makes it easier. They come in a grey pack from Tesco and he tells me they’re the comfiest he’s worn.

Pampers premium protection have the sticky tape bit too and little pockets printed on the bum like jeans!

MrsBudd · 02/07/2019 06:41

Agreed!

ParadiseLaundry · 02/07/2019 07:09

This is really embarrassing... but can someone tell me what the sticky tape on the back is for? I've never been able to figure it out Blush

katmarie · 02/07/2019 07:09

Tesco pullup nappies have back written on them. But confusingly the big cartoon is on the back too. So we still got it wrong a couple of times.

SleepingIsOverrated · 02/07/2019 07:13

@ParadiseLaundry take off the wet nappy and fold or roll, undo the tape and wrap it round to create a little 'parcel' to contain the contents!!

spacefrog35 · 02/07/2019 07:14

You can use the sticky tape to ‘wrap’ up the dirty nappy in a neat bundle like you can with the tabs on a normal nappy. I’m not aware it has any other purpose.

@Gilbert1A we don't use pull ups yet but I thought they were like stripper pants and could be ripped off?

CarrieBlu · 02/07/2019 07:33

Dear manufacturers of pull up nappies,

PLEASE can you print the size of the nappy on so that it doesn’t require a bloody microscope to see it. I have two DC in very similar sized pull ups and I’m forever mixing them up.

Regards,

Exasperated parent.

wheresmyhairytoe · 02/07/2019 07:35

Yes you can rip them off but need to strip their clothes and shoes off to get another one on.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 02/07/2019 07:37

Dear Universe

Why in the name of all the saints has DS figured out how to remove his nappy and wizzle everywhere at 16 mos old?

I thought I had another year Sad

@wheresmyhairytoe ha, yes, didn't think of that. My mum did use them on my son for a while on the day she has him and she said they were a faff. I was just putting normal ones on him when he got home so haven't had the delights of the whole rigmarole.

Boots , the op is talking to you.

Bodicea · 02/07/2019 08:01

Dear pampers can you take the yellow bits out of the pattern on nappies, especially near the seams..the amount of times I have checked the edges of the nappies and thought it was pooh leakage only to realise it is the pattern on closer inspection .....

Dinosforall · 02/07/2019 08:01

It's some sort or marketing bolox to make parents think their babies are more grown up or closer to potty training cos they're in "pants"

Good for those of us with toddlers or preschoolers who aren't dry at night yet but sometimes wake to wee on potty. Agree on the front/back issue though!

notso · 02/07/2019 08:01

Yes!!!

IncyWincyGrownUp · 03/07/2019 20:24

They sometimes fit better. That’s the reason I started to use them.

sounrealistic · 03/07/2019 20:37

My pampers pull ups say front and back on them!

Gorillaandme · 03/07/2019 20:40

I put them on my 15 month old because they fit better and she can get the normal tab nappies off 🤦🏻‍♀️ I also find them easier to put on.
