Thunderbolts and lightning
It’s also hammering down here.
Looks like that was our summer.

Central Scotland, it was raging. Looks big up at Mum and Dads in the north east.

West of Scotland here, had some loud thunder and lightning and a few heavy showers this afternoon, didn’t come to much. Seems to picking up momentum as it travels east

No storm here - Scarbados living up to its nickname and I had to abandon a day out because of it. Same forecast for tomorrow and another day's plans ditched.

Please send rain and thunder and lightning and hail, with or without howling gales. Would even consider taking delivery of a small blizzard. Thank you so much.

Very hot today in the East Midlands and no rain due until next weekend. It reached 31 degrees here which is too hot for me. Love thunder and lightening so I’m very jealous

I love storms. We’re in a village with a church across the way and it always feels very gothic listening to the bells with thunder and lightning going off. As it is, sitting with a stroppy DD and an overworked fan.

North East Pennines here, keeps clouding and clearing. Hoping for a good storm!

Very dark and stormy here in Edinburgh, not heard any thunder or seen any lightening, just very heavy rain.

We've just had a few drops of rain - still sat on the decking throughout them they were so light. Says it's 27 degrees here (Peak District).

Aw, so jealous, it went a bit dark here, few drops and stopped, got a bit breezy so made sure it was going through the house.

Me too and loving it! We very rare we get a good thunderstorm and it's still rumbling on.

I'm in west Yorkshire and have just heard a crack of thunder. It's still sunny though and is very still and heavy outside. I'd love it if it rained! I'm not near Halifax though Dowser

Well it didn't end up raining ! It's hotter than ever.

No storm here in SE London. Could do with one.

Just got off a train back from London (25 miles away) - the city was very stuffy and oppressively muggy but was a gloriously sunny day.
My town is much cooler but still very warm. My bedroom thermostat is reading 28 degrees! No clouds in the sky.
I’m going to have a shower and then probably sit in the garden with a night cap!
