I’ve decided to start listening to podcasts as I work, drive, walk the dog etc. and saw a thread yesterday about some true crime ones - Casefile, They Walk among us, and others.
Those look good, but I’d like some more recommendations, too.
I’m interested in... anything really: history, science, nature, current affairs, comedy, mysteries, crime, scary stuff.

Which podcasts do you like?
Thanks 🙂

I love a good podcast! Some great tips in here. The last podcast I got really addicted to was Cold - it's the story of the disappearance and probable murder by her husband. Very twisted. Loved Teacher's Pet too. I really liked Strangers too. There was a particular series where the host looked into her dating history and why she was struggling to find a partner - fascinating stuff.

If anyone likes foodie ones, the kitchen cabinet with Jay Rayner is fabulous

notacooldad I also have an old car, with no aux cable port so I bought a Bluetooth car adapter that allows you to listen through the speakers via the radio
I've been meaning to change over but I've had the cable for years because I also ( still ) use my iPod occasional.
The kids I work with think it is hysterical once I explained what it was! They stopped laughing when I said I didn't need wifi or use data up to play my playlists!!

I've been recommended a podcast called Black Hands. It's a New Zealand crime true story. I'm going to listen soon so will report back.

Don't bother changing over if your current set up works well. I’d love a cable!
I’ve found that with the Bluetooth radio thing the sound is not exactly the best, especially for music. You Bluetooth to a device that then broadcasts it via FM radio. The volume has to be turned up quite high so there is often fuzz from other radio signals. Sometimes you’ll drive somewhere and a local station will cut in and interrupt!

I love podcasts, mainly comedy with a few talkies thrown in:

Gossipmogers ( this is really really stupid and purile and funny NSFW/kids)
The Horne Section (musical comedy with guests)
The Adam Buxton Podcast (talkie, I just choose a guest I have an interest in)
Love Stories with Dolly Alderton (my sleepy one, gorgeous talks about love)
Off Menu (foodie talk with comedy and nonsense, very very funny and makes me hungry)
Walking the Dog with Emily Dean (another talkie but some great guests)
Like Minded Friends Susie Ruffel and Tom Allen (very funny )
The David Tennant Podcast (another talkie with guests but very interesting)

I use Castbox, and look out for reccomendations, I try an episode and if it sticks i try more.
