Broadway show cancelled

Our treat to dd for studying hard for GCSEs, is a trip to New York. We got her Broadway tickets for a show she is desperate to see for Christmas.

We found out today the show has been cancelled!! We will get a refund on the tickets and will obviously still go on the trip, but I was wondering what we could do with the money in New York instead? There aren't many other shows she's interested in as most are on at the west end.

Radio City Music Hall backstage tour if you can.

Look at the Lincoln Center - see the ballet or the opera - it’s world class!

get the app TodayTix and you can enter on the day lotteries through it and also get day seats (but you need to be fast), you can use it in London too just change the City at the top of the app page. You can filter by dates when you are searching for a show and the prices are normally the same as TKTS booths (same company).
Also check out 54 below for a cabaret/dinner show - all the big stars appear there.

TKTS has an app too, so you can see live what's available but also looking in advance gives you a feel for what is generally not sold out. Also there are a couple of other counters where the queue isn't as long, say if you're sight seeing downtown anyway.

Hi nursiecat. I've been to New York several times and other states within the USA (i'm based in the UK). Always use Goldstar to book shows etc. They are reasonably priced and I have never had any issues.
