Just that really, if you work part time,
What or how many days do you work?
What do you do?

I’m a teacher and I work 2 days (Monday and Tuesday)one week and 3 days (weds,Thurs and Friday) the next week (in rotation)

Substantive hours are 22.5. I work Mon-Wed 8.30-5 (although have flexi so is rarely those times!)

Working increased hours at the moment though - 3 longer days and then a shorter Thursday!

princesspeppax · 20/06/2019 17:45

I've recently changed my hours I now work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays which suits me perfectly as DP doesn't work weekends so gives us time to spend together as a family and do things with DC

MyGuideJools · 20/06/2019 17:49

I work 3 days a week but different days every week. So one week could be;
Mon, Tue, Sun and another: Wed, Sat,Sun
I love that no 2 weeks are the same

megletthesecond · 20/06/2019 17:51

Tues, weds, Thurs. Office admin.

Pekkanekka · 20/06/2019 17:52

Teacher here. I do supply and work Tue & Wed. Sometimes do extra thur or Fri. I especially like having Monday to get the house etc back in order after the weekend.

happypotamus · 20/06/2019 17:54

I work 30hrs, but my job is 12 or 13hr shifts and the 30hrs a week is worked out by a computer programme that averages it out over a 4 week period so some weeks I end up doing over 40hrs. It's shit. My work days/ nights could be any time except currently I don't work Fridays.
I'm a nurse.

Di11y · 20/06/2019 17:54

Mon-thur school hours.

Kaykay06 · 20/06/2019 17:54

Work 18.75 so one long shift one short
Whichever days I’m given
Fun for childcare

seven201 · 20/06/2019 17:55

I work Tuesday to Friday and am also a teacher. I didn't get to pick my day off. I'd prefer Friday.

Faster · 20/06/2019 17:57

Practice nurse.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
8:30-5:30.
Very good hours for nursing.

BurnerPhone · 20/06/2019 17:59

I'm a nurse but not clinical anymore. I work wed, thurs and half day Friday

Finfintytint · 20/06/2019 18:02

Monday and Tuesdays 5.30 to 9.30pm and Thursday and Friday 10.30 to 3.30pm. Self employed housekeeper/companion. I set my own hours to suit me.

Fireinthegrate · 20/06/2019 18:32

Tuesday whole day, Wed, Thur, Fri afternoons, NHS clinic admin

ReginaGeorgeous · 20/06/2019 18:34

Monday to Wednesday. Banking.

trinitybleu · 20/06/2019 18:35

I'm full time but compress 5 days into 4. I have Mondays off usually.

trinitybleu · 20/06/2019 18:36

Oh and that's HR for a Bank.

Having Monday off is ace. Time to catch up after the weekend and you still get to benefit of Friday traffic being lighter as everyone else is off 😂

ToastyFingers · 20/06/2019 18:38

24/30 hours depending on how much I'm needed.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday 3pm-11pm and sometimes Wednesday 5pm-11pm.

I work in a shop so not glamorous, but it sees the bills paid.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 20/06/2019 18:41

0800-1320. Monday to Friday. Term-time only.

I'm a primary school mealtimes co-ordinator. And I'm very aware how lucky I am to work the hours I do!

Junowhat · 20/06/2019 18:50

9am - 2pm 5 days
General office skivvy. I love my job but I also have another job which I do from home and averages out at 15 hours a week plus a dh who works 6 days and is Domestically Challenged as well as youngish children and a few pets and my day never seems to be done!

In fact my 9am to 2pm are possibly my most enjoyable hours of the week Shock

paw1977 · 20/06/2019 18:57

Wednesday and Thursday ... flexitime 9ish do 4ish!!

Tiredmum100 · 20/06/2019 19:05

I work 22.5 hours a week, can be any days and either 08.30-16.30 or 9-5. I'm a community nurse.

getmeacupoftea · 20/06/2019 19:17

Part time chef. I do every other evening. Which is nice because I get to spend the day with the kids and leave after their tea time. Just means I'm done in though!

Totallyaddictedtoshoes · 20/06/2019 19:37

I work 4 days with Tuesdays and weekends off. I actually really like it as knowing on Sunday I've only got one day to get through until my day off makes Mondays easier. I can do a top up shop f needed as we do our big shop on Friday. Then going back on Wednesday it is half way through the week. I wouldn't really like Fridays off as it's a good atmosphere in the office. I am lucky as if I need to swap for long weekends they are fine with it. I do really feel it if my 4 days are in a row! Plus it makes Easter 5 days long!

Veryveryouting · 20/06/2019 19:45

W-F 9-2. Hospital admin.

stoplickingthetelly · 20/06/2019 20:11

Secondary teacher, head of department (share the role). I do 3 days a week, but they change each year depending on the timetable. I’m also not guaranteed 3 full days. In the past I’ve had to split it over 4 days.
