Does anyone still remember emkana's ds?

He turns 13 today
After a busy day a moment to take stock and reflect. In many many ways he's doing way better than we could ever have hoped during those scary pregnancy days, but there have been choppy waters galore nevertheless and still lots of certainty what the future holds. Still no firm diagnosis - this consumed me when he was younger but now I don't care, but it's not a big deal.
The support I had on MN back then meant so much, which is why I thought I'd check in today!

Yes he does. He loves his gadgets, expensive watches, chess and drama

My ds with complex needs was undiagnosed until last year (he is nearly 9) and I used to see your posts talking about your ds and feel solidarity!
It's great to hear he is doing well and see you on the boards. How are you doing??

Up and down! Sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed. But all in all life is good

Gosh, thirteen. Happy birthday little S. I remember when he was born. He was quite a good weight iirc!

So, so happy for you.

Life becomes what you can make of it, I developed a life changing condition PPM, DH two years later,[clearly not PPM] neither of which are ideal, but you work around them.

So happy for you all.
