What are you looking forward to?

It can be today, tomorrow, next month, next year....just thought it might be nice to have a happy, cheerful thread

Tomorrow: I'm looking forward to garlic bread for tea (totally fucking addicted to garlic bread at the minute)

In two weeks: I'm looking forward to a takeaway, wine, DVDs night with DP to finish off what's been a really stressful 6 months.

For the next six months: I'm looking forward to not having to be in work (on sabbatical), not having to be particularly available on emails and not having to do any teaching (I'm a lecturer)

I'm on an extremely restrictive diet at the moment but from the weekend I can eat pureed foods and I am sooooo looking forward to mashed potato!! And I just booked a holiday for September.

Looking forward to spending time with my dear little granddaughter this weekend, getting very excited.

I'm looking forward to being off my antidepressants (hopefully for good!) in 2 weeks time. I'm weaning off them as we speak. I'm also looking forward to our holiday in Devon this summer and a date day with DH on Sunday when we will have very rare baby-sitting organising for DD.

Looking forward to:
In 10 mins time: my tea, I'm bloody hungry.
End of next week when all my students' exams will be over. And I finally get a bit of time to sort out and think about September properly.
July: 1st holiday abroad in 12 years and going to Lebanon.

Lots of great things here! I'm looking forward to going to a festival next month with my dh - if it doesn't rain that is! Looking forward to a spa day in a few weeks with a friend. Oh and the summer holidays so I have a bit of time off and time with my daughters and some relax time.

I'm looking forward to our first family holiday in November. DS's first holiday to Florida, visiting my sister who lives over there who I haven't seen since December 2017 and celebrating thanksgiving at her house.

Tonight: catching up on Killing Eve after DS goes to bed.

Next weekend I'm going out for drinks with some friends that I haven't seen in a few months.

In the summer holidays, having a week away in a caravan by the sea just DS and I.

Firstly I'm looking forwards to Friday when I have the first of ten sessions I have booked with a new PT.

Secondly I'm looking forwards to not being a fat sod any more.

I'm looking forward to buying my first car, getting a national trust pass and being able to visit lots of different places.

Also looking forward to my foldable rain coat (online order) so I can be prepared in all weather without relying on an umbrella and hoping it doesn't break 😂

I'm looking forward to moving house week!

I'm looking forward to 9pm so can get dc to bed and dh off to pub so can watch love island and maybe a glass of wine. I'm looking for to weekend nothing planned just that hoping it's nice weather so can peg all my washing out and sit in the garden . I'm looking forward to my week off work in the summer holidays .

Looking forward to getting rid of all the weeds on my allotment, not had time to go there for the last three weeks. Out for dinner and cinema with a friend on Saturday night...and off camping with DD in the summer! Can't wait!

My first holiday in years after a horrendous few years with mum being ill then dying. Going to LA with my dh, ds and dn and can't wait -two weeks today!

Four weeks today I'm flying to Cyprus - dd works there and have only seen her for one day since March - miss her chops

Next weekend DD graduates.
Very proud of her, she struggles with anxiety and its been a slog (for both of us )

I look forward to every Friday when I finish work for the week 😂

Christmas! The last two Christmases have not been good due to bereavement, stays in hospital and having to move out of our rental accommodation last Boxing Day. We've tried to make it fun for the dc but it's not been the same. This year we are back in our own home and I am planning on going overboard on decorations and Christmas activities to make it up to them.

Hope you're all ready for the excitement I'm looking forward to tomorrow. It'll be one of the handful of days I've had off work since January and I'll be...

DSil and DBil have flown in today from the US - looking forward to going out for dinner with them this evening.

Next month we’ve rented a villa in the South of France for holiday with extended family.

Looking forward to tomorrow night, a bath in peace and then junk food in front of the TV, then bed with my new book (and maybe a bar of Godiva chocolate I'm planning on buying tomorrow).

It's my 40th birthday next month. I'm having a party, so looking forward to that, it will be quite relaxed as it's a house party in the day, so hoping for sun!

Going away to Leeds for a weekend with my 2 best mates who have also turned 40 this year.

Have a week off work in August, so will probably do a Haven holiday with DP & the kids.

Going to Malaga in September for 4 nights with 3 other friends, part of our annual get away and abroad has fallen on this year!

Luckily I will be getting a bonus at work at the end of July to pay for all the above!

Looking forward to taking DS round a uni open day tomorrow. I've never been to one. Not sure if they existed in my day.
Looking forward to a couple of parties we have coming up over the next few weeks.
And to carrying on reading a book I'm loving.
And to summer, when my job always gets much more interesting.

Saw them donkeys years ago and was mesmerised by them!
I think they had their van nicked recently, glad it hasn’t stopped them.
