"Going out out." I'll go to a pub or dinner with friends but have officially drawn a line under clubs and bars. Hated them at 18, no keener at 38.

Been to both the above as an adult with girlfriends (not my choice) Cannot imagine why anyone would want to spend such a huge amount of money on such contrived 'amusement' . Are people so lacking in imagination that they can't find 'fun' that is not presented in a play park with arrows telling them to 'go enjoy'.

I could get 3 kids DH and I to Thailand for three weeks for less than a week in Centre Parks .. where rafting and jungle trekking are a lot more fun than a 3 minute ride on a mechanical amusement or 40 minutes trundling around a soggy fake 'forest' on a Segway..

Agree about Disneyland. Took DC to Euro Disney for 3 days and had to escape to the sights of Paris on one day. Overpriced funfair is all it is.
