Limmy, he's admired by a lot of comedians I enjoy, im just meh though.

DontCallMeShitley · 14/06/2019 16:59

Prosecco

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 14/06/2019 17:00

Chips. I just don't get it...

DasMumBoot · 14/06/2019 17:07

Theatre productions (can’t get past the fact that everyone sounds like they’re acting and by extension can’t buy into the plot, characters or set).

Opera - just stop singing. And absolutely don’t do that talky/singy thing - recitative I think it’s called. It’s annoying and sounds silly.

Dancing in any form - why all the kicking and wafting around looking pained.

Red. It would suit my colouring but can’t bring myself to own any red clothing.

Purple. Really depressing colour.

All forms of exercise - So good for you but I can’t find anything I don’t hate doing.

Sweet potato - so good for you but it’s too sweet to be a vegetable.

Soft boiled egg - like biting into life itself.

Fish - apart from prawns and scallops but then they aren’t really fish. Fish is just so fishy unless it’s from the fish & chip shop.

Cherries - 99.9% out of 100 they’re like eating disappointment

I should love musicals and movies like Mama Mia. I'd rather poke my eyes out than watch that shit.

This plus:
Shopping with female friends
Take That
Cream cakes/brownies/desserts
Game of Thrones
Girly 80s weekends

APurpleSquirrel · 14/06/2019 17:12

Wine
Cheese
Coffee
Olives

Morgan12 · 14/06/2019 17:12

Not sure what I should like but I really really wish I liked seafood. I think its looks amazing and so fresh and healthy but I hate hate hate it. It's disgusting.

GlitterPixie · 14/06/2019 17:13

Dark chocolate and cheese

Bubblysqueak · 14/06/2019 17:13

Tea and coffee. It gets embarrassing asking for squash in my 30s.

mommybear1 · 14/06/2019 17:16

Eggs 🍳 absolutely hate them but understand their goodness I really struggle serving them to toddler DS I'm trying to get him to like them ..... honestlyGrin

JockTamsonsBairns · 14/06/2019 17:16

Good quality, posh crisps, like Kettle's. Texture is like a bag of Walker's has been left open for a fortnight.

Ronsters · 14/06/2019 17:19

Mojitos, should right up my alley as I love all the ingredients. I think they taste like mouth wash.
Fevertree tonic, I think it's foul. Give me Schweppes anyway.

Drogosnextwife · 14/06/2019 17:21

Wine or anything like wine.
Unflavoured gin
Avocado
Tomatoes
Agree about yoga. I've done it a few times and it actually helps my back ache quite a bit but I just can't get dedicated enough, also running, but that's laziness.

Claricethecat45 · 14/06/2019 17:21

Already been said, but I cannot explain sufficiently how I loather ANY type of Musical...sat through Phantom of Opera once - trying to escape after 10 minutes.
From childhood, hated and loathed any type of 'performance' including Panto and Circus.

TV and the odd film at home on Iplayer of CD- not at the cinema - is about my limit and I have to really be into it to even think of watching or sticking at it for more than 5 mins.

This includes James Bond - never seen one and nor do I want to but all of the above is the passion of DH/DSx2 and I struggle...I really do

BelindasGleeTeam · 14/06/2019 17:26

Gossipy women. In my case, the ones in the playground referring to each other as 'hun'.

I feel like I should want to join in. Like it's the "done thing"

But, nope. Can't be arsed.

Freyasmum1 · 14/06/2019 17:26

Gin
Tea
Cadbury's chocolate

beela · 14/06/2019 17:28

Olives - meh
Coffee - I keep trying, but it is still horrible, and I can taste it in my mouth for the next 6 hours.
James Bond - I can't make myself be interested enough to watch one all the way through. Ditto The Italian Job. Just don't get it.
Star Wars - too ridiculous.
Yoga - really boring.

redspider1 · 14/06/2019 17:42

Flavoured gin. I like the taste of gin!!!!!

BursarsDriedFrogPills · 14/06/2019 17:45

Bristol.

It's full of things I like: pretentious health food shops/nice cafes/by the sea/vaguely alternative vibe. Yet I really can't be doing with the place.

AgentCooper · 14/06/2019 17:48

redspider1 shopping with female friends - YES! I just want to spend hours in TK Maxx alone with a crazed look in my eyes Grin I do not want other people crashing my mission.

redspider1 · 14/06/2019 17:53

Agent exactly, concentration is needed. I know what I like and where to look. I don't want to traipse around the shops they like lol.

historysock · 14/06/2019 17:53

Centre Parcs. My kids love it. It's my idea of hell!

Jsmith99 · 14/06/2019 17:54

Oysters. I love the briny flavour, but the slimy texture makes me retch. Yuck.

Cigars. I know that proper Cuban cigars are supposed to be one of the ‘finer things’ and are the subject of much connoisseurship, but to me they are just stinky, horrible glorified cigarettes.

Jazz. I am aware that Jazz is supposed to be sophisticated music, but to me it is pointless, tuneless, self-indulgent and boring.

I am such a pleb...

AguerosAngel · 14/06/2019 17:54

Gin

Napssavelives · 14/06/2019 17:55

Fleabag, couldn’t get into it

redspider1 · 14/06/2019 17:56

Centre Parcs. Never been but the price is eye watering enough to put me off.
