Limescale off. Is your kettle worse than this?

I think this is pretty bad. Limescale is awful where we live in Herts. Can anyone beat this?

getrid well, if you’re filtering your water first, then your spout shouldn’t get too bad. But, in s SE, v hard water area, I learnt long ago to use lemon quarters and sea salt to descale everything from taps to kettles. White vinegar is grand but smells of vinegar
