What is your secret that you waste money on?

We must all have one thing that we secretly treat ourselves too... or waste money on.... for many women it seems to be shoes or a nice handbag etc.
Me? I waste my money on flight upgrades

What about you?

@BethanyGilbert

Thought of another. The video game the Sims. I’ve had every base game (4) and every expansion pack since it started. I rarely play it now. What with being an adult and all but I still can’t have one of the games be released and not own it 😱

Snap! Though I don't have all of TS4 expansions, but I do have the PS2 version and a couple of handhelds too. I used to upgrade my computer when S2, 3, and 4 came out so I could play them! :p I've only played on them a few times this year though. I keep them though as never know when I might fancy a game! Food. I've started a new job and discovered an M&S foodhall very close by. It started out as a sandwich and now I suspect I'm spending more in there than I'm actually earning.

Takeaways. I'm actually a great cook and I don't really like takeaway food but I'm. Just. So. Tired.

DC. They get pocket money, but I'm often slipping them an extra £5 or £10 cause I'm a soft touch.

Cleaning products. I have every one you can buy for any job, in all the lovely different fragrances. I rarely even clean that much...

Vintage silver jewellery, especially 1930s pieces. I have too much already but love it!

MrsDilligaf · 12/06/2019 20:38

Take out coffee - I don't care if its Costa Coffee/Cafe Nero/Joe Bloggs cafe. I have 3 or 4 a week

Fags - Filthy habit, but I flipping love a fag with a Take out coffee.

Perfume - I'd buy a bottle a week if I could. Up until recently I only ever wore one fragrance. But now...I'm cheating on my signature fragrance with anything from a 3 quid Primark perfume upwards.

Good deals. I am looking for expensive branded toys for bargain prices.

I upgrade aeroplane seats if I have enough points to do it.

Another sucker for beauty products/makeup here, which is weird because I hardly actually wear any.

S&B is probably the MN board I’m on most and quite often leads me down ££ rabbit holes!

I go into fabric shops and buy patterns and fabric and imagine the beautiful things I'm going to make.

I don't have the space for sewing, or the time and I'm completely shit at it and it is such a total waste of money but it makes me feel so positive and excited about the future and the possibilities.

Take-out coffee.

Supermarket sandwiches. I’m not working ATM and could easily make myself a sandwich when I get home from the shops. But I’m lazy and supermarket sandwiches taste better.

Fabric for quilts, and books for my kindle.
