We must all have one thing that we secretly treat ourselves too... or waste money on.... for many women it seems to be shoes or a nice handbag etc.
Me? I waste my money on flight upgrades

What about you?

Having pink highlights. Have to have blonde and then pink on top. Pricy and time consuming, but makes me feel like a unicorn.Wink

Esspee · 14/06/2019 06:18

I have a plant addiction. I leave them by our side gate then sneak them in when OH is otherwise occupied.Hmm

Shoxfordian · 14/06/2019 07:09

@Despacitoburrito
Ah ok, I'm not much of a rule follower :)
Maybe I'll stay a lone covet wolf for now

TheClitterati · 14/06/2019 07:57

Perfume. My 4160 collection is impressive.

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:10

Chocolate ( £1.50 per bar)

Posh soap( about £5 per bar)

Real butter (£3 or similar)

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:11

billy I used to buy that magazine a lot

Stormy76 · 14/06/2019 08:24

Books for my iPad, clothes ‘for work’, I don’t class face creams etc as luxuries as I turn into a spotty freak without. I get a massage once a month, it’s my time to be pampered

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:38

queenoftheashes oh dear! That's an expensive habit lol

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:40

@itisalladream 😮 you paid £400 for a flight upgrade!! £400 would allow me to renew all our passports or buy two months groceries and school uniforms for September.

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:43

Clothes for the dc. Nothing flash( think H&M, primark etc) but it quickly adds up.

littlewhitething · 14/06/2019 08:46

Books! I spend more time trying to work out where to put more shelves than I do hooverung

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:50

@Youmadorwhat that's a nice bath I am envious. I do not have a bath (just a shower) so it's been over 3 years since I sat in a warm bath.

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 08:51

Horses wear boots?

mycatismeowican · 14/06/2019 09:00

Also bottled water .tap tastes
Awful the kids have tap though, they like it

TheKrakening3 · 14/06/2019 09:10

Sometimes I send myself gorgeous gift baskets. Could buy all the items for half the price but they are so pretty.

LaMereDuChat · 14/06/2019 09:11

Another vote for horses - I sneak their new belongings into the house... however, since I got them I have stopped buying myself clothes and am turning into a mad countrywoman Blush

WaitrosePigeon · 14/06/2019 09:18

I like buying house things.

Hushhush89 · 14/06/2019 09:26

@BearSoFair

My husband is like this, he isn't interested in how they look, he says he just loves the feeling of new socks, he has 2 massive boxes full of socks and he too will not throw them away. Last Christmas he was so excited as he worked out he got brought loads of pairs that meant he could wear a new pair from Christmas up to March. I am tempted one year to buy him a years supply but I know he won't throw any of the others away.

And to answer OP post, I don't actually waste anything on me, I feel guilty buying new clothes (I only every buy new ones if I actually need them) and even if I get given money for birthday I still feel guilty spending it myself.... but for my kids, I'm forever buying them new clothes even tho their wardrobes are full....

babyno5 · 14/06/2019 09:27

@spellingtest I use mine e every day too. Have a hideous amount though and didn't stop me placing a massive sale order this week 😱

omione · 14/06/2019 09:28

sage46 i used to do that until i had 2 bookcases in every room and 3 towers of books beside my bed, one night they collapsed onto me and i knew then that they had to go (sad) but i sold the lot at a car boot and raised over £300 and guess what i bought ..... A kindle but i still buy real books !

TigerTooth · 14/06/2019 09:29

Travel upgrades, skincare.
Eyeliner - I must have bought about 30 this year - all expensive ones, current fave the sisley waterproof.

BadLad · 14/06/2019 10:07

😮 you paid £400 for a flight upgrade!!

That's cheap to upgrade to business class. Most people who fly business pay a shitload more than £400 over the cost of economy.
