What has happened today that you're pleased about?

Had a wash on before I even left the house. I'm basically some kind of hero.

Beat that.

I had to run an errand this morning which meant I would need to go commute to work from a different train station. But when i got to the station, all trains were cancelled. My boss is isn't around, so no one knew I was late....

Just got 80% of the questions right on the chase.
I was kicking ass on the chase tonight!!

School application forms completed.

Also.
Adjusts glasses and smiles...
made tea tonight, without comment and EVERYBODY ate it and teenage ds 1 even came back for seconds.
This like.. NEVER happens.
They all bloody moan and whine usually.

Made a lemon drizzle cake that didn't sink in the middle, well chuffed! And it's yummy

My mum stayed to help with the kids while I was cooking dinner. My saviour, it's the time of day I hate most!

I did not forget DS has a dentist appointment tomorrow, and remembered to move a call with a client and email his school. This is a big step forward in winning at life for me.

I’m not feeling great at the moment and just being arsed to get up off the settee takes a massive effort.

I’d got the ingredients in the fridge to make a cheesecake that I planned to make at the weekend and didn’t get round to doing it.

I made myself get up off my sorry ass and make it this afternoon, so despite feeling like crap I’ve got cheesecake to look forward to this evening. Yay!

Dylon are sending me a complimentary box of Colour Catcher because I emailed to tell them they saved my washing when I accidentally washed 20teabags in with the whites.

I managed a trip to B and Q to choose paint to decorate the lounge. Have been putting it off for a while as I hate making decisions but I'm really pleased with the colour.

I got a mega size bunch of sweet Williams and they're brightening up the kitchen at the mo.

I made dh Nigella's malteser cake for dh's birthday tomorrow and it looks good.

First solo evening with 2 (aged 3.5 and 10wks).
100% of my children were asleep by 8.15.
Dinner was McDonald's drive thru eaten in the car. And they both have the cold so have had knock out drops Calpol and the small one is still on me...

Thought of another one... DCs and I made a sweet personalised frame for DH for Father's day.
(Overlooking the rest of the day which was shite).

I finally managed to touch my toes in Pilates.

i managed to park our not very small car in a very awkward tight spot in front of a bunch of sniggering decorators and builders. The look on their faces was priceless. I did want to whistle as I walked past but instead smiled and said hi. I think that made their penises even smaller

I cleaned my fridge this evening :) Aah!

I washed my windows to distract myself from not eating dinner (is a fasting day today) , do I get 2 points??

I'm recovering from chemo and radiotherapy. Today I managed to get up. Washed and dressed and walk round the corner to buy cake. Go me!!

I did all my chores early and didn't fall asleep on the sofa so I'm actually going to bed properly at a reasonable hour.

The little boy with autism who I shadow at work read his book to me without a complete meltdown! Literacy was a no-go today, but we managed reading which is brilliant! Usually he won't entertain anything vaguely learning related.
