It's June for crying out loud and I'm cold.

Anyone else?

Oh good, I feel better now, because so have I. Grin

I am also sat under my throw. Sad

Banhaha · 10/06/2019 15:58

I put mine on about half an hour ago along with my thick winter socks

LaganBubbleCruises · 10/06/2019 16:02

The hail was so thick here earlier it looked like snow.

HighlandWorrier · 10/06/2019 16:02

Yep here too but then we are in Scotland.

Sparklingbrook · 10/06/2019 16:03

I went into town this morning and was absolutely boiling walking about. Confused I considered stopping for an iced latte.

Now I want a Hot Chocolate...

mycatisblack · 10/06/2019 16:05

In our old house with a north facing living room, I probably would have too but I have a large sunroom/semi-open plan space facing south and west so it heats up the space really efficiently and I rarely switch the heating on between April to October.
When we were house hunting, my husband couldn't understand why my number one priority was orientation. If the main living space faced north or north east, we wouldn't even bother viewing it, but I think he gets it now. Grin

Me too! I’m normally a warm body bug have jeans, socks, slippers, vest, top and cardi on and am still chilly! Thermostat kicked in at 14 so it’s pretty cold indoors to be fair

rollingpine · 10/06/2019 16:06

I have also dug out the fluffy slippers from the bottom of the wardrobe. And unearthed my hot water bottle for tonight Grin

Me too, I also had it on when i woke up for an hour Blush

Bluntness100 · 10/06/2019 16:08

Yes I have too. It's not stopped raining all day. So much rain it's quite unbelievable.

rollingpine · 10/06/2019 16:12

My cat is now playing the in/out game. You know the one - asking to go out, dash outside, suddenly realising it is pissing down and then asking to come back in again 30 seconds later. After a couple of minutes ask to go out again. And repeat ad infinitum.

OP posts:
FriarTuck · 10/06/2019 16:15

Yup. Turned off again now but it was lovely.
My cats have also done the in/out game only youngest likes to make me stand at the back door for ages waiting for him (even though I said 'it's raining, just poke your head out first to see if you still want to' - do they listen?!)

woodcutbirds · 10/06/2019 16:16

I nearly did. Ended up working in bed in a big winter jumper.

ewenice · 10/06/2019 16:18

Had mine on for a few days - I hate being cold, makes me miserable.

rollingpine · 10/06/2019 16:18

My cat is now glaring out of the patio door window in disgust.

AugustRose · 10/06/2019 16:21

Not today as it's been warmer (North Cumbria) but the last few days have been damp and cold so it was on for a short time. I think it's mean to be about 11/12 degrees tomorrow so it may go on then.

avalanching · 10/06/2019 16:22

Yup me too and I'm REALLY stingy with heating!!

Pinkvoid · 10/06/2019 17:28

Just put mine on now... The weather is abysmal.

fourquenelles · 10/06/2019 17:41

Mine kicked in automatically this morning. Toasty.

Seeline · 10/06/2019 17:41

My thermostat is set to 18 all year round. The heating comes in automatically so I don't feel guilty about putting it on. It came on at lunch time one today, as yes it was cold.

PutyourtoponTrevor · 10/06/2019 17:45

Not too bad here today but yesterday I was freezing so it went on, I'm just outside Manchester. Tomorrow is predicted to be 14° so it'll be going on for an hour

Floralnomad · 10/06/2019 17:47

Ours is on as well , I put it on one day last week as well .

CigarsofthePharoahs · 10/06/2019 17:49

We had our boiler serviced today and the workman apologised for having to put the heating on for a bit.
I looked outside at the grey and the heavy rain and said that it was fine.

LaurieFairyCake · 10/06/2019 17:53

I've not had ours on for over a month (London)

I've just put it on for an hour to take the chill off the air - it's 12 degrees outside.

Delatron · 10/06/2019 17:58

It’s horrid. It’s my fault as I bought a new sun longer and a paddling pool.

On the plus side it does look like it’s perking up next week.
