I'm very vexed about my Revels

Family bag - looking forward to it all day Far too many fucking raisins (I do not want fruit in my chocolate) and I've never met a human who likes the coffee ones.

I still can't quite get over them replacing the coconut and peanut ones with the above shite and have no idea why I still buy them. But they're Revels and I like a wee surprise now and again.

So tell me, what product do you still buy even if you don't think it's as good as it used to be?

Raisins are shit, love the coffee ones, hate the orange ones.

The coffee ones are the best ones! I hate raisin ones, obviously, I’m not a monster. The toffee ones are rock hard and I have a painful jaw joint disorder so if I bite into one of those I have to return it to the bag for someone else

I love Revels and have a big bag every weekend. They are disappointing I agree but I like the disappointment - like Christmas as a child when that big present that looks so inviting turns out to be a box of old tat.

Revels aren't what they used to be. They all taste a bit cheap and samey now.

REAL revels roulette would be the addition of a cheddar one, or a tiny meatball one, or pickled caper, for vegans.

Revels have always been my favourite and I love the coffee ones. The last bag I bought was full of horrible little toffee ones. I was so disappointed!! Not bought a bag since..

Russian roulette chocolate is madness. I was recently at a hobby thing where someone handed around a box of chocolates. Everyone found it very amusing that I refused to choose one without the little illustrated menu, “Go on Tink, live on the edge,”

I was quite taken aback by people choosing chocolates blind.

I bought some fizzy cola bottles the other day for the first time in years. The coating was too sour, but worse, the jelly bit was really weird. A bit too soft and sticky - not nice mouthfeel at all.

When did they have coconut ones?? I missed that!
I love the coffee ones. I like the raisins too. My only issue is how bloody small the bags are now.

The coffee revels are the best.

Am I dreaming, or did there used to be a Turkish Delight one in there?

I love the coffee ones. I thought the raisins were discontinued as the last bag we had, there weren't any. But far too many toffee ones instead.

@sueelleker I think you're dreaming but that would be awesome, I love Turkish delight. Dairy Milk used to have turkish delight but they replaced it with an apple abomination!

I used to love revels. Stopped buying them when they got rid of the peanut one and added in minging raisin. Even worse when coffee became raspberry. Didn't even know they'd changed back.

I wish they'd rid of the rubbish toffee ones, by far the worst AND they're heavy for their size so you get even fewer of the other ones.
