It's a big birthday party for a friend. I'm short, bit of a tummy, decent legs, size 14ish.
Is this outfit freakish or fabulous? And what shoes does it need?

Some things should have never been invented. Sequin playsuits fall into that category. Even the model can't pull it off!

RacheyG I love yours! They only have this colourway in my size other than black... and I think the black is a cop-out... if you are going to wear a sequin playsuit, then surely it should be ultra OTT... but I'm afraid of looking like a fool...

I always think it depends whether you'll spend the whole night questioning if you should have worn it (and therefore not enjoy yourself) or whether you'll embrace the sparkles and have a great night!

I think it’s entertainingly mad. If that fits with your personal brand, and if other people at the party are also going to go all out then, yeah, maybe. Definitely worth trying on to see how it works on you - you might find that it’s impossible because of body length.

Plainish whitish trainers would be fine - you don’t need to add sparkly heels.

This was from missguided last year. And I'm defo not Taylor swift size. I got lots of compliments but maybe that was the atmosphere of the day? Or people were laughing behind my back 😂
