Really fed up. I've found a fabulous bodywash that Avon make(made) Oatmeal.... Its so lovely and good for my skin as doesn't affect my eczema... Went to order some more and its vanished from book and website. 😔 😔 😔
My lovely Avon lady has ordered me six bottles which I hope come in. Its on Ebay and Amazon but a lot more money... Grrr!!

@prampushingdownthehighst

I still have a tiny bit of the original Nina, which I keep in its box in the dark, so as to eke it out for as long as possible! That and a travel sized soap. I sniff them occasionally and sigh nostalgically.

I really hoped they'd brought it back when I saw the adverts for the apple bottle version. I hot-footed it to Debenhams for a sniff and I was so disappointed. It pains me still :-(

Tesco did a laundry range called Tesco Loves Baby. It was non-bio, non-bleach and it smelled clean and fresh without being overperfumed. First the detergent went, and now the conditioner's not on-line.

Another one for Asda potato and carrot Waffles.

Oh and Walnut whips - they seem to do so many other varieties but not the original walnut ones.

Ilovetea33 · 06/06/2019 03:10

L'Occitane Roses et Reines bath salts. The smell was lovely and a little went a long way.

Nat6999 · 06/06/2019 03:59

Aldi used to do an amazing frozen cauliflower cheese, the sauce was just garlicky enough to taste it, they stopped it a couple of years ago. I used to love it & regularly cooked a portion for lunch, I've tried every supermarket brand but have never found one that measures up to the Aldi one.

Walnutwhipster · 06/06/2019 04:12

I have three packets left... wankers!

Supernoodles briefly did a thai curry/laksa flavour in a purple packet - actually tasted like real food! Gone.
L'occitaine almond milk moisturiser.
Remembered the smell of Flex since reading the thread Smile
Fuse chocolate bars - Picnic are tiny and less exciting Sad
Cafe Rouge once did a crayfish and saffron pasta which was rich but lovely. I've tried other places with the similar sounding thing on the menu but nope.
Sausage and broccoli pizza! I used to work in a village with a family run pizzeria and they did that! Also a lovely polpette pasta with the same sausage Smile It's too early to be this hungry!

I absolutely adored Waitrose Cream Soda, best I'd ever tasted IMHO. However, someone in their infinite wisdom decided to make it 'no added sugar'. Gone had the lovely creamy soda taste, it now tastes all chemically and leaves a bad aftertaste.

I even wrote to them complaining and asking if they had any of the old bottles about! Alas I got a letter back saying that they had changed the sugar content due to demand (they should go read the reviews on the soda), they had no old stock and they sent me a £1 Waitrose voucher..

LonelyTiredandLow · 06/06/2019 08:11

Oh yes and Waitrose dim sum - they used to have frozen packs.

How is it that they always say they do something due to customer feedback then completely ignore huge swathes of feedback at the same time? I'm the same with sweeteners and it only takes buying something once to never buy it again which is an increasing trend due to sweeteners Sad.

ArseholesOnToast · 06/06/2019 11:57

I loved Waitrose’s frozen pain rustiques. I had them with manchego and tomatoes, so tasty especially when still slightly warm. They still do the little baguettes in their frozen range but not the pain rustiques. Swines.

I still check whether Onken have brought back their mousses. They did ones with cream on the bottom (chocolate and peaches ones) and ones with compote (strawberry was my fave). I even wrote to them asking where they’d gone. Not enough sales apparently despite my weekly habit!

Valentino Rock n Dreams was one of my absolute favourite perfumes as was Kingdom by Alexander McQueen. Both gone.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 06/06/2019 12:15

@IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece have you seen The Collective yoghurts special edition pina colada yoghurt? It's amazing!!

MiraculousMarinette · 06/06/2019 12:41

Chloe Love Chloe perfume. I only just discovered it and now you can only buy it for gazillions on eBay.

Cedar03 · 06/06/2019 12:53

Body Shop's original aloe vera face moisturiser. I used it for years then they suddenly reformulated it. New version was no good on my skin, left it feeling dry. For a while the old version would pop on sale and I bought several pots but in the end it was gone for good.

msmith501 · 06/06/2019 12:53

I may have missed a post on the thread but to the person missing Branston flavoured cheddars... they still sell them in my local pub with future sell by dates so I'm guessing it's down to what shops etc decide to stock rather than them being withdrawn... and they are delicious!

RobotNews · 06/06/2019 13:43

Body Shop virgin minerals foundation - hardly anywhere does loose powder foundation now Sad

If you desperately want them, there’s 30 packets here for £25! I’m sure they’re cheaper elsewhere also.

BiBiBirdie · 06/06/2019 13:55

Aldi were recently doing this flatbread pizzas with spinach and baby tomatoes. Lush.
They now seem to be getting rid as I've not seen them in there for ages and just before they disappeared they had reduced them.
Damn you Aldi.

1forAll74 · 06/06/2019 13:58

I am an oldie here, and all my life, germolene ointment has been in it,and in my late Mums life too. Now you can only get the Cream or lotion version, which is not so good.

I did look on ebay etc, and it was being sold for £40 plus pound per tin !! The little tins you used to buy were quite cheap.

I did do a little read up about Germolene, but can't remember all the details now. Maybe there was something in the ointment, that in today's world,is considered bad for you. I had used it for 60 years or more, even used it on one of my cat's legs, when he had a bit of a laceration, and it cleared things up very quickly.

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 06/06/2019 14:17

Body Shop Blue Corn Scrub mask and the softer Oatmeal mask. And Fry’s Five Centres, literally the only chocolate I’ve ever liked Sad

Dontsayyouloveme · 06/06/2019 14:33

M&S coconut snowballs! The lightest ball of vanilla sponge covered in a bit of white icing and desiccated coconut! They were big too!!

Gone but never forgotten 😔

MissClareRemembers · 06/06/2019 15:01

Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger bath oil. I’ve only got a teeny bit left now. 😩

Over600Ecalypts · 06/06/2019 15:34

1forAll74 I once asked the pharmacist about the difference between ointment and cream as there was a choice for the particular thing I needed (not Germolene). He told me that the creams were easier to apply and the ointments were more effective. That might be why they've stopped the Germolene ointment?

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 06/06/2019 15:35

Boots used to do a range if body products that smelt sort of flowery, you could get shower gel, body oil, body cream etc. One of the range was Sunflowers and I think another was Daisy Chain? Loved them both, I reeked of them from head to foot. From about 1997 I think?

NomDeQwerty · 06/06/2019 15:44

Yes I remember those. They did a hair mask that was amazing. Then they stopped. (Fucknuggets)
