Really fed up. I've found a fabulous bodywash that Avon make(made) Oatmeal.... Its so lovely and good for my skin as doesn't affect my eczema... Went to order some more and its vanished from book and website. 😔 😔 😔
My lovely Avon lady has ordered me six bottles which I hope come in. Its on Ebay and Amazon but a lot more money... Grrr!!

Tesco have recently replaced Caffionata iced coffee with their own version.

Its shit.

MissLadyM · 05/06/2019 00:50

Boots Henara henna hair mask. In a big tub. It was a pearlised pink deep conditioner that made hair incredibly shiny and conditioned.

clucky3 · 05/06/2019 05:54

I never got over the body shop discontinuing passion fruit face wash, I loved that. Must be more than 20 years ago and I still miss it.

You can buy flex shampoo and conditioner on amazon, but I tried it and it's not the same as it used to be. I am also mad with aveda for discontinuing the madder root range for red hair

Lidl once sold a lovely body lotion with the subtlest glittery sheen to it as part of their Cien range during a ? Wellbeing campaign. It was fabulous and I bought loads in anticipation of it being a while before it appeared again. It never did. I’ve since searched for similar products but nothing has come close. It perked up my pasty skin so beautifully and I miss it now my personal store has run out.

I remember Miss Slefridge doing great make up too. Then it all changed and got 'little girly glittery'. As a punk I loved their dark eye shadows - best black ever and their eye kohl pencil was the bollox. Ho hum.

Deathraystare · 05/06/2019 08:24

Marks used to do an onion tart tatine - bloody gorgeous ti was - in fact I used to have it at Christmas . That's how lush it was.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/06/2019 08:35

Green and blacks dark choc with almonds. Gutted for a long time over that one.

NomDeQwerty · 05/06/2019 08:47

Pantene shampoo and conditioner for curly hair (bastards)
Body Shop gradual fake tan (wankers)
Body Shop shimmery apricot body lotion in a black bottle (wanky wankers)
Mark's and Spencer every bra that fits me properly so I have to stock up and wear them till they are in tatters then wait ages for the next one (tosspots)

fussychica · 05/06/2019 08:54

Max Factor Cafe Frost cream eye shadow in the late 70s - I don't hold a grudgeGrin
M&S grape syllabub probably in the 80s - see I told you I don't hold a grudge Grin

But seriously it probably runs into dozens of things over the years. I know companies like to bring in new lines but it always seems it's the flavour or product I like that disappears. Am I to assume I've got poor taste and I'm one of only 3 people who have been buying it?!

StormTreader · 05/06/2019 09:04

Tiger Tiger Green Thai Instant Noodles.

I loved those so much, bought literal armfuls from the supermarket whenever they were in, they were a great work lunch, genuinely tasty and not too calorific to boot, plus they were often on offer for 50p.
One day - gone. Replaced with some faffy "open the individual bags, mix together, add this, remove that" variant. Still gutted from 10(?) years ago.

Ihatesundays · 05/06/2019 09:15

They’ve stopped making Whiskas soupy pouches - the cat now hates me.

Spira - bastards

Dewberry body wash.

WellTidy · 05/06/2019 09:30

Waitrose used to do a goats cheese and caramelised onion flatbread that you bake. Haven't done it for ages - just the normal garlic bread flatbread or olive flatbread or pizza base type flatbread. None of which are anything like as tasty.

Thank you YesQueen for the direction to Coralista!

MissingMo · 05/06/2019 09:36

Sour cream niknaks. Now have to put up with rib and saucy ones.

TeaAddict235 · 05/06/2019 09:39

Sanex original scent shower gel!!! Arrrg. Why did they tamper with it? Why oh why?

Impulse O2 body spray.

Superdrug Almond body lotion in the blue bottle. It was heavenly and had a long lasting scent.

TeaAddict235 · 05/06/2019 09:41

@MyFavouritePlace that Revlon flex shampoo is available in Germany!!! The bottles are large ~750ml- 1L. And they are cheeeeeeeeeaaaap too Grin

Soola · 05/06/2019 09:48

@TeaAddict235

The flex shampoo isn’t the same formulation now though.

Aveeno2017 · 05/06/2019 09:54

Will never forgive Ester Lauder for discontinuing Sensous Noir..

TeaAddict235 · 05/06/2019 09:57

@Soola oh, my bad, sorry.

Also boots have discontinued the Time delay range in blue. It was my go to. Now I'm watching a few extortionists on EBay.

Yes yes to Pantene for curly hair @NomDeQwerty . It was delicious for my fro . (Your post made me chuckle btw, what was going on at 9am for you Wink? )

ooooohbetty · 05/06/2019 09:58

I've never forgiven M&S for discontinuing Haddock Kievs . This was about 20 to 25 years ago so this is how much it upset me.

HotChocolateLover · 05/06/2019 10:04

M&S used to do these gorgeous fruit rock sweets and then one day I went in and they’d gone. Plus there was one place I went to that did the most fantastic white hot chocolate. Most taste synthetic and gross but this was like the nectar of the Gods. Went for my usual Friday treat and it had been discontinued ☹️ Yet Parma Violets are still a thing and are now poisoning cider. HOW, just HOW?????

YesQueen · 05/06/2019 10:07

Forgot 10 calorie soups. I loved those

NaughtyLittlePassport · 05/06/2019 10:08

@PhannyMcNee
Waitrose do yellow curry paste

ImportantWater · 05/06/2019 10:13

Body Shop's Vitamin E facecream. They still do it but in teeny tiny pots not the bigger pots, which seems worse for the environment to me as well as working out more expensive. I had a strop last time I was in there and the lovely saleslady got me the last four or five bigger pots from storage, so I am set for the foreseeable future. They will probably bring them back now.

ImportantWater · 05/06/2019 10:16

Also a local independent cafe which I used to go to after swimming every week and have a smoked salmon and cream cheese sesame bagel was taken over by someone else. They replaced the posh salted crisps that came with the bagel with Doritos, the rocket salad with iceberg, sesame with plain, and either failed to toast the bagel so it was stodgey or another time somehow toasted the whole thing so the smoked salmon went crispy like bacon. Grrr.

Plsnomorepeppapig · 05/06/2019 10:21

I still remember with longing the red imperial leather shower gel - smells very similar to Gucci rush. I emailed imperial leather to ask “why oh why?” (Over 10 years ago now) and they replied that it was the least popular so had stopped it. I couldn’t understand this as it was by far the nicest smell of all shower gels in existence (to me anyway).
I also miss all bran chocolate wheats - they were so nice - the perfect mix of healthy and not so healthy. They just vanished 😭😭😭
