What are you doing right now?

I'm sitting on the (empty) park watching dd2 going round and round the path on her new bike. We've been here an hour already!

Dd1 has gone to town with their dad to look for cheap trainers to take to Kingswood next weekend. She doesn't like anything though so is likely to come back with none meaning I'll have to take her for some in the week...which will be exactly what she's already pulled faces at because they're Primarni and not Nike

Lying on the bed mumsnetting because im feeling a bit under the weather. Ive dropped dd(16) at the hairdressers and dp has taken ds(6) to the park so i can have a rest.

Drinking coffee, having spent the morning in the garden m doing washing and changing beds. Then food shopping. Now pooped and need a rest before tackling the next lot of jobs.

Visiting the in laws. Trying to stop the children from touching EVERYTHING in their non-toddler-proof house! But sat on their sofa drinking coffee and (obviously) faffing around on mumsnet as I dislike smalltalk.

Sat on sofa waiting for water to heat up so I can have a bath.

Been planting stuff out at allotment, been to B and M, been to check ponies, picked dd up from my mams, tidied round and am bloody knackered now.

Hot bath, pjs and probably a gin is my plan for the day.

Drinking a cup of tea with a chocolate biscuit dipped in it, just got up from a quick nap as I am working tonight. Am about to upset DC by suggesting they turn off the tv and tidy up and help me pack their stuff for going to stay at their grandparents for the night tomorrow. DC1 has a huge list of spellings to learn, so will hate me for making her look at them. Then have dinner, get ready for work, get DC ready for bed and head off to a 12hr night shift.

Just got in from a trip to a national trust place and then to get an ice cream from a local farm.
DS1 and DH are playing upstairs, DS2 is sat in his bouncer having a whale of a time and I’m lounging on the sofa.
All is quiet for now and it’s bliss.

I’ve just sat down after spending the last hour or so going up and down the stairs with baskets of washing to put away. Have no hangers left for DCs clothes so will need to spend tomorrow trying random leggings on my youngest and anything too small for her will be chucked or donated.

Have SO much tidying up to do before the living room is in a fit state for dominos and BGT tonight.

Resting on the sofa. I'm 2 days overdue, just had my second sweep and been for a walk with DP and our little boy. He's watching Paw Patrol and munching on fruit while DP is making food.
